Main battery replacement today. Was dead dead dead early this morning, but there have been warning messages of "aux buttons not available while battery is charging" so I knew it was going to go eventually, about 3.5 years on this one, same as the factory battery.

I've used the evc i-drive for a few years now, and it's night and day difference from stock. For off-road driving through technical spots, I have throttle control when I need it vs mash it and hope for something to happen. It definitely makes my manual JT feel almost like a sports car (brick)...
Added Z Automotive Auxziliary control box with the locker switches. Moved the factory AUX button spliced connections to the bus bar of the control box since it is supported either way which cleaned up the mess of wires jammed into the fender. Eventually I'll be adding lockers, so this is in prep...
Most "auto tool sets" have 17mm & 19mm, no 18mm, and what does the JT have tons of, 18mm bolt heads and nuts. I have 2 18mm wrenches, 8" and 12", 3 18mm sockets of different depths and drive sizes. But don't forget the 21mm either.
Sorry not multi stage, softer spring rate on JLU. (2)Sport S stock springs, JLU left, JT right. When both were stock, the cush ride went to the JLU hands down. The JLU sits 1" lower compared to a JT.
We own both. For plush rides, the JLU wins, softer multistage springs front/rear from the factory, but for stability on the highway, the JT is easier to control, extra wheelbase breaks up the concrete highway seams better, less bucking.
US regulations I'm guessing. I see tons of them down in South Texas, from across the border with Mexico plates. I also see Jac trucks, BYD and the mini Ram.
There was a thread on this mod way back in '19 or early '20 but search isn't finding it, but it broke down a visual on where to trim the plastic bumper to work with the bed sliders, but yes, cutting and Dremel work required.
As I was in the engine bay, cleaning up the baked on Moab dirt from last year, noticed the cable loom around the positive cable for the winch was disintegrating everywhere and where it is near metal brackets, was starting to rub. A quick trip to the store, replaced the cable loom, zip tied...
A future upgrade, Z-Automotive aux kit to add the factory locker switch. Anyone have one and have an Adventure Labs winch disconnect mount, or a different mount that is tested compatible. It's looking really close for a fit, but hoping someone has done this before and can verify fitment? TIA...
Have had the Sunrider since January 2020, haven't removed it since I got it, works great but in stock form, it's definitely noisy compared to the freedom panels. Moved to South Texas May '24, got the Hothead Headliner for the Sunrider in '25, and it's night and day difference in road noise and...
