I worked in the car business as a salesman and closer in the late 90’s. Things may have changed since then but here is some basic info about how dealer exchanges typically go
dealers do not have to give up a unit if they don’t want to
if they have a desirable unit(say a Mojave right now), they...
Sounds like you have a point to prove.
I do not
OP asked a question and I gave an experienced answer(26 years of towing a 7000 lb trailer daily for work and owning numerous lifted Jeeps, 3 currently)

I already have my Gladiator as well as a JK and a TJ but I would buy a stripped two door JL right now if there were any in stock. I might need an intervention
I have several of the Harbor Freight floor jacks and they are really nice. If space and weight aren't a concern, get the 3 ton. If you need to save space and weight get the 2 ton and a couple hunks of pressure treated 4"X4". I don't trust bottle jacks.
Unless you have a real love for Ford, the 7.3 would be pointless when there are already other swaps perfected. Namely any Chevy LS motor or the 6.4 Hemi's. Check out Rubitrux for Hemi Swaps and Motech for LS swaps.
