  1. Rain Gutter Roof Rack - destroying door weather proof

I recently got a set of these too. They were inexpensive and look versatile. I'll probably attach a basket on them to throw stuff up there. I was going to use a Roam box but it's huge up there.
  2. OVRLND Camper roll call

I decided to go with the AEV kit with the 3" High Capacity rear springs. I just have to wait now for them to get them back in stock. I also found a local off-road shop that will install it for me. I'll also probably go to 37s because I hate the look of large gaps between the tire and fender...

  4. OVRLND Camper roll call

Another option this shop will install is from Rock Krawler. https://rockkrawler.com/rock-krawler-2-0-adventure-no-limits-mid-arm-suspension-system-for-jeep-gladiator-jt-diesel-models/ I haven't heard much about them. On their site, they suggest: If building an "overland style" or heavily...
  5. OVRLND Camper roll call

One local shop likes Icon but I’m not that impressed for what you get for the price. I like the AEV HD spring option.
  6. OVRLND Camper roll call

What kind of suspension are you all running with the camper? I feel a lot of lift discussions don't always consider the static load of camper and such. I'm thinking of getting like a 2-3" lift. My budget is somewhat limited, so I was looking at the Mopar 2" lift, or something around that price...
  7. Cargo Basket Roof Rack With Ladder & LED Lights! - by MONOKING

I just measured and I only have about 28” front to rear. 😕
  8. Cargo Basket Roof Rack With Ladder & LED Lights! - by MONOKING

Do you mean clearance from the roof to under the camper? What are the dimensions of the rack? I'm thinking of it fitting in front of the camper above the freedom panels.
  9. Cargo Basket Roof Rack With Ladder & LED Lights! - by MONOKING

would this fit over the front half of the cab? minus the ladder of course. I have a pop-up camper, you can see it on my profile pic. this is something many of us with campers like this struggle to find.
  10. What lift for an overlanding rig?

Answered my question. I'm thinking of moving to 37s but was wondering if a 2" lift would work on my JTR. I don't want a step stool to get up in the truck. lol I also like the the look of this more. I have a camper but it's not super heavy. HD rear springs and stiffer shocks should handle it.
  11. OVRLND Camper roll call

I use something like this. https://a.co/d/iFx2vTt I can set each of the 3 Homelink buttons to a separate channel. I can set a third channel for undercarriage lights, which I might do next. I can turn them on from visor when driving, and later turn them off or on with fob while in the camper. I...
  12. OVRLND Camper roll call

Lights! Long time project completed. Ever since having to get the home link buttons when I ordered my truck, even though I don’t have a garage door for them, I was finally able to use them for desert chase lights and also utilize the added “brake light” on the camper as another rear light when I...
  13. OVRLND Camper roll call

Anyone find a good sized screen for the back opening, or side hatches? What are you guys doing to keep bugs out, but want air in?
  14. Audio delayed response at start-up

I have a 2020 JTR, and lately I've noticed that the audio and temp controls aren't responding right away when I start up the vehicle in the morning. I don't notice it really later in the day, but I think sometimes it still does it. So when I start my truck I can't adjust the volume, or fan speed...
  15. Anyone regret installing the snorkel?

I'm curious why you would have preferred the cut-through-the-hood version.
  16. Rubicon steel bumper ‘winch ready”?

I I think it depends on the winch plate. I have a Rockhard 4x4 winch plate and my Apex winch fit without any grinding, etc. Just needed longer fairlead bolts. It sits a little further back so I also re-routed the wiring to come out the side.
  17. Pulling the cord but keeping the engine running

and this essentially the same as pulling the cord?
  18. Pulling the cord but keeping the engine running

I'll have to look it up. I have a Tazer but once I haven't done much with it the last couple of years once I set up the options I wanted.
  19. Pulling the cord but keeping the engine running

A couple weekends ago I smashed my transmission line while wheeling (skid plates are my next purchase now, lol). I had to get winched or get pulled off the trail to make room for others to get by and move to a safer location. When I lost enough trans fluid, the truck wouldn't engage in any gear...
  20. Level indicator recalibration

Is there a way to recalibrate the level indicator? Recently I was trying to level my truck and camper, and even though it said 0° level, it definitely was not by comparing it with a level. How does it determine being level?
