Had engine tapping at 37k - ended up needing a new camshaft/rockers/lifters. Definitely get it sorted out as quickly as you can! I think I narrowly avoided disaster.
I'm up in Michigan and am totally with you guys. Pretty much the first bit of winter precipitation and it wasn't working. Ended up picking up the Alu-Cab Latch Covers because I needed something. They're pricey for what they are and honestly a bit of a pain to actually get to seat completely...
Hey there - I just started researching LP6s for my own rig and this sounds almost exactly what I'd love to do as well. I'd be able to live without the low beams coming on with the factory high beams though, as I think the LP6 high beams include all LEDs and I usually like full control of things...
Looking great! I was just drooling over that RTT yesterday too. Is it worth saving up for?
I opted for the low profile bars too, If it's not too much trouble could you grab a photo of the Bar mount design? (RTT to Crossbars)
Is the Quake LED cutout emblem all stainless steel over the radar as well? Has the blind spot monitoring performance been tested? I'd be shocked if that much steel over the radar's field of view doesn't dramatically impact that feature's performance...
Yup! That’s what I noticed too. Wire colors are different and I bet certain packages use more or less of the pins than others.
So for reference: I have the Premium LED package and the blind spot sensor (active safety package) on this rubicon tail lamp.
so I hate to do this to you… But do you still have the tail light off? I popped mine off and I have more than one white wire, one with a grey stripe, orange stripe and pink stripe.I think you’re tapped into the grey stripe one but I was hoping to do my wiring on the vehicle side harness so if I...
Hey, if I was dealing with water levels like that, I would be too! No worries at all.
Perfect timing! I was just about to investigate my taillight to see what I could do. Thanks for taking the time! I really appreciate it!
@steffen707 & @smlobx: Fun fact - your right turn signal now has two blinkers, the right taillight and the AluCab center light! :CWL:
Discovered this when a friend called me while driving behind me.
I kinda like having it sync up with the emergency flashers, but would rather it behave the...
In other news, the MTB fits! Albeit at a pretty sharp angle. Going to have to get more creative for long trips with friends, but at least I can fit my two main bikes with only the front tire off now if I decide to go somewhere solo.
So nice to drive home in the downpour that started right...
Hope I'm not too late! Finally watched the video.
You're right, there's a contour to the bed sides, I think you just need to bring your front brackets back a bit so the contour is favorable. Mine's a solid 7 inches away from the front of the bed.
I also read the shim instructions to mean the...
That helps a ton, thank you!
If you had a moment to pull the tail lamp off to share a photo of the final wiring job and the path they used to get the wires there, that would be amazing. I bet I can figure it out if not though.
Nice! Thanks for sharing.
Not going to lie, I'm kinda regretting not opting for that now...
Can you open it from inside the cab? Or just from the bed side? Latch makes me think bed side only.
