In my JK, i eventually went to a Rugged Radios intercom kit. Best $ i've spent for road trips. phone plugged into aux for music, and i my passenger can hear when i talk to them
most of the noise is going to be wind and road noise. buy a box of Dynamat xtreme, place it on the larger panels in the truck. floor/firewall/inside the door skins
you can get the DynaPad to go under the carpet in the foot wells. its basically a rubber pad, not sticky like dynamat
I can tell...
I still have my JKU (09, Auto - its still for sale, i was trying to sell it before i got the JT) and I have gone back and forth in my mind plenty of times about my Gladiator.
It's nice to have a newer vehicle, the interior amenities are great, the truck bed is handy, but overall, my JKU is...
Congrats on the Jeep OP! Hopefully we can get some pics when you pick it up on Saturday!
In other news, any Taylor Swift fans in here?
Also, are posts being deleted/edited? What's up with that?
interesting. What year is your truck? I think the bolt was changed mid year on the 2021 models
I was going to wait for the 'old' bolt to arrive, but i guess i could go crawl under the truck and see if the bolt i have fits
@cmb396
one more thing to keep in mind, not all larger tires will fit in the spare tire location with the stock rear trackbar.
I upgraded to the Clayton rear in order to fit a 37 in the spare tire location without interference
I wouldnt look at it as 'one time' thing. Tires are not all 37" in size. Once on the vehicle they are usually closer to 36.5'
If you decide to try a different company on your next set, their tire sizes will most likely be different. ie BFGs run small, usually 35.5' for a 37. So you should...
It's SILVER! that automatically makes it more desirable!
If you change your mind, I will sell you mine for $873 dollars plus shipping. It's ready to be boxed up, sitting in my garage next to my 'wide-track' wheels. 😀
The skid plate on a Mojave is a little different than the other models. The remote reservoirs for the front shocks sit behind it. The skidplate attaches to the bumper and to the 'horns' on the front frame.
The skids are not directly interchangable but you can get them to fit with some trimming...
Really? 70% ? Nonsense...
Pretty much all the 392 hood/cowl specific stuff will fit the Mojave. The suspension (bolt size) compatibility is the real only other issue.
Definitely apples to oranges. Not arguing that fact. I even said at the end of my original post, since the OP will be on road 99% of the time, the 2" AEV lift will suit them
To answer you, and clarify for the OP:
I bought the Mojave hoping i would be able to keep the OEM shocks and the 2" AEV lift. I have the Falcons, and was hoping the Fox's would be close enough. In my opinion, they aren't. When the time comes to rebuild them, I'm leaning towards replacement instead
