  1. BuiltRight Industries Utility Rail System - A $230 Mopar Trail Rail Alternative

Mega swamped with everything! I've been lurking regularly, but we've got so many new products in the pipeline (Ford, JT and other) that I've mostly had my head down getting work done. It's quickest for me to post misc updates and such on Facebook, so if you want to keep an eye on what's cookin...
  2. BuiltRight Industries Bedside Racks - Any Interest?

Our panels should be a great solution for the powertank using their bracket. We have TONS of Ford customers using them like you describe, at an angle. The lower mounting point on our panels is important with an item that heavy, so if you mount it at an angle, mount it leaning forward to keep...
  3. BuiltRight Industries Utility Rail System - A $230 Mopar Trail Rail Alternative

Hey all! Sorry for being MIA here - been keeping our heads down and working to get holiday orders out the door. Good news! Our first run of 100 end caps from the injection molding tooling came out great, so they'll go into the first 16 kits that were ordered and ship tomorrow! The rest will be...
  4. BuiltRight Industries Utility Rail System - A $230 Mopar Trail Rail Alternative

Yea, could certainly use thumb screws instead of bolts. Wonder if I could come up with a clever quarter-turn option as well. I'll kick that around a bit! Matt
  5. BuiltRight Industries Utility Rail System - A $230 Mopar Trail Rail Alternative

That's a good question - I'll try to confirm. If the cover fits with the OEM Mopar rails, it'll fit with ours, though. Yes! See below! You can find them at most hardware stores. Look near the electrical boxes and such. The 1/4in nuts that we include with the panels will work great, but I...
  6. BuiltRight Industries Utility Rail System - A $230 Mopar Trail Rail Alternative

Hey all! We've been talking about this for a while and for something seemingly simple, it took longer than expected to iron out the details to my satisfaction and get things into production. Anyway, here's what you need to know about our BuiltRight Utility Rail System! Why? This is simple. For...
  7. Anyone in here?

  8. BuiltRight Industries Bedside Racks - Any Interest?

Sorry for going MIA recently - been scrambling to get everything ready for SEMA. Utility rail kits are almost ready to ship! I didn't want to accept payment before we had the majority of parts ready because I'm trying to be as aggressive as possible with pricing and you never really know until...
  9. BuiltRight Industries Bedside Racks - Any Interest?

Sweet. Shoot me a text if you have any questions or want any input. Sending my cell via PM. Matt
  10. BuiltRight Industries Bedside Racks - Any Interest?

Love seeing these show up! You shouldn't have any trouble at all, my only recommendation would be to mount the air tank as close as you can to one side or the other, to take advantage of the support that the tie down mounting points provide. I've got guys sending their Raptors pretty good with...
  11. BuiltRight Industries Bedside Racks - Any Interest?

A #10 bolt should work in there I think, but in any case, just use a washer on the backside! You'd want to space it out from the bed to get close to the depth of the factory rail system, but otherwise it should work fine. Our utility rail kit is basically a DIY+ kit. I bought 2000ft of custom...
  12. BuiltRight Industries Bedside Racks - Any Interest?

Sending you a PM! The rectangles are 1.25in wide and designed to fit MOLLE accessories (or anything similar). The slots are just over .25in and perfect for 1/4-20 hardware and carriage bolts from the back! Matt
  13. BuiltRight Industries Bedside Racks - Any Interest?

Bingo. My target has been an MSRP of $200. It looking like I may miss that with higher than anticipated powdercoating costs, but not by much. Will still be a significant savings from Mopar. Matt
  14. Where have you been all my life, Gladys?

Clever thinking! I like the DIY bed mat as well. Itching to get a thick rubber one for mine. Matt
  15. Maxtrax Mounting Ideas

I'm impatiently waiting myself, haha. We're getting there. Matt
  16. Official Gladiator Measurements Thread

Sorry I missed this! Had my game face on this past week. A rail (or similar) solution that's 1.25-1.5in deep and 50-51.5in long will work great with our panels. Matt
  17. Maxtrax Mounting Ideas

You are correct. We didn't want to disturb the integrity or spacing of the rail systems, so we mount right to them. The mopar kit is great. I've also got a kit coming that'll be a good bit less expensive and (in my opinion) is more versatile. Matt
