do you know the torque for that bolt? Mine was loose as well. I tightened it up and it really helped but I was afraid to torque it too much until I got the ft-lbs.
Just got off the phone with Jeepcares. The dealer did order the wrong part but the system automatically updated it to the part specified in the TSB.
Hats off to Jeepcares thanks for the assist.
I knew this went way too smooth. Also the dealer said the parts are in. This really leads me to believe it’s the old box. when I drop it off next week I’ll speak with the service manager.
Well I called and they assured me it is the right part. to Anyone that has had the part replaced. What was your part number and Is it a different color?
Jeep Cares You out there
Im afraid of that but 68507576AA is not a valid part number. All the new bolt numbers are found but not that part. I guess I’ll have to call those jokers.
Maybe this has been addressed. I took mine in and they ordered the parts. I checked the parts number in the order and they ordered 68418449AE for the gear. The TSB called for part number 68507576AA. I looked that up on Mopar and it can’t be found. One interesting Thing however, the Mopar...
I know I shouldn’t have to but I put on the Fox 2.0. It made a world of difference. I have stock rubi tires with the mopar 2 inch lift. I was going to buy the adjustable Fox but I wanted to try the cheaper one first. One thing I did notice was how easy it was to flex the stock stabilizer. I...
1100. I do have an update, after pleading with the dealer, they checked the torque on the suspension and found the lower control arms both front and rear to the axle at less than 150 ft lbs, the front should be 190 and the rear 185, with the upper rear at 200.
Pretty funny, dealer has Jeep all day. Calls at 400, says he really can’t replicate loose steering. He say it is probably my aftermarket 33 tires causing the loose steering An awkward silence, I tell him they are stock, he says Really? I immediately call Jeep cares. So sad.
