  1. Rear Window Leak - Difficulty with Dealerships

Below is from another thread This is why I believed it was window related. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/i-keep-hearing-water-sloshing-around-in-the-back-seat-area-cant-find-it.33928/ After two days of the Jeep at the dealership, the rear window has been replaced. Dealership...
  2. Rear Window Leak - Difficulty with Dealerships

I have read in some other threads sloshing was due to window leaking and allowing water into the roof and the delear resolved issue by replacing window. I have checked and my gutters are clear. I doubt Jeep will take ownership of this common issue since I am out of warranty so I am now reading...
  3. Rear Window Leak - Difficulty with Dealerships

Anyone get there's fixed after the 3 year 36k mile warranty. I have had my Jeep almost 5 years now with only 33k miles and just noticed the sloshing noise recently. Previously, I always assumed it was my kids water or gas tank or something. I spend the summer topless and car parked in garage so...
  4. Sway bar disconnect and warranty

Thanks. I guess I will ask in April when I bring it in for the door hinges to get fixed due to the common rust issues jeeps have with them. I understand it's a suspension issue like other say but Jeep shouldnt have the truck tell me service 4wd system if your jeep is not going to include it the...
  5. Sway bar disconnect and warranty

I have a 2020 Jeep gladiator. Almost 5 years old 32,000 miles. About 3 times in last year I have gotten sway bar disconnect warning and then the service 4wd system. I can usually make it go away by going into 4 lo and hitting sway bar button and everything works. Is this part of the powertrain...
  6. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

Still waiting to see how jeep plans to compensate us for any wear due to the friction issue in the flywheel? No rush to get this recall until I know this issue hasnt decreased my clutch's life.
  7. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

Wow only $600. Is the clutch job that straightfoward or do you live in an area that is fair. I had Xterra and a Versa i had clutches go on over the last few years. O3ne was a little under 2,000 and the other 2,500 so I did the work myself. At 600 I would gladly pay.
  8. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

Like how jeep cares that you get a recall but doesnt care to make right that if there is slippage in the clutch then the issue jeep caused took some clutch life away from your brand new highly priced vehicle.
  9. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

Its not the cost of parts for a clutch replacement that concerns me. It is the overpriced labor or in my case the days into weeks of me doing the labor myself to save from the highway robbery mechanics charge.
  10. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

I understand a clutch isnt covered in the warranty. I do believe Jeep is at fault to a clutch pre maturely wearing caused from slippage as a result of whatever the actually issue is that caused the recall.
  11. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

My biggest issue with the recall is Jeep is admitting that at least some of the transmissions are faulty and slip. We all know slip wears a clutch. They came up with a solution that addresses the slip. However they dont come ul with a remedy for all the extra wear that occurred to your clutch...
  12. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

I am suprised how many people let jeep touch there truck without a clear picture of what the recall entails
  13. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

Yea i got an oil change and inspection in December. I dont want to cash in my recall until my clutch slips. I just told them I need to pick my kids up and have no time for anything extra.
  14. How long did it take for you to find these?

Im the biggest Idiot here. Took me about 18 months and 20,000 miles. I only know about it because my buddy with a wrangler mentioned it. In my defense I was never looking for steering wheel control nor am I a fan of it.
  15. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

My jeep manual says 5 quarts so thats what I do. My Dodge Durango also has the 3.6l Pentastar and the manual say 6 quarts so thats what I do. The CDJR dealers might just be used to putting 6 quarts in so many 3.6l pentastars in there lineup so they just do the same for the jeep. May not be a big...
  16. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

I think more then an explanation is owed. An explanation now would be very helpful though. I am a bit sensitive to clutch issues. My parents had a 2004 xterra that clutch only lasted 40,000 miles and then needed replaced again after another 40,000 miles. I dont want to deal with a car that...
  17. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

Yes im aware the current warranty is not on the clutch. If Jeep is telling us the clutch is not an issue then prove it to us by giving us a warranty that gives us confidense it will last as long a we expect it too. Honestly 80,000 miles isnt long for a clutch. Everytime i drive i think how long...
  18. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

Yes all of us want full details on exactly what this fix does. Having the full picture may put some of our worries and anger at ease. As of now many of us feel we are being giving an inferior fix. Also im concerned that even if my clutch passes the test it doesnt mean wear was not accellerated...
  19. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

correct 1500 is something we willing spend for our jeeps but to get it right in the first time shouldnt be our cost.. If you said to me spend 1500 and your jeep will get another 100,000 miles with larger tires and more hp. I would sign up today.
  20. Recall: Manual Transmission / Clutch Recall for 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator (Notice: 21V-028)

At least 50 percent of us feel this way. What is our real course of action so we dont get ripped off? I want larger tires and a super charger but am now scared its not worth the hassle if the clutch wont last. A bunch of us being upset on here wont do anything. If 20 thousand of us dont buy a...
