I think your on the right track, FCA are sending all new for that side including a new side axle. They are working to get it resolved and have supplied a rental truck truck now so I guess I'm hopeful it will be all fixed this time next week.

Well the transfer case has been replaced and the issue is worse. Back to scratch, everything has been extensively tested and checked. The technician, a very qualified one I might add. Thanks for reaching out. The new Transfer case is at the dealer now and will be installed Monday. I'll let you know the results.

No sir, the dealer admitted to me they replaced another before it was even sold. I heard of a third too. Think there is an issue with the T Case carry over from the wrangler. I'll post again after Re Re the new case.

Only 3000 k on my Rubicon Gladiator is in the shop over two weeks. Looks like the FCA are sending a new Transfer case to my local dealer. They want the old one expedited back. For sure its the third one now with T Case issues. Loud fibration comes n goes in 2 WD. Love the truck other than this...
