Only 3000 k on my Rubicon Gladiator is in the shop over two weeks. Looks like the FCA are sending a new Transfer case to my local dealer. They want the old one expedited back. For sure its the third one now with T Case issues. Loud fibration comes n goes in 2 WD. Love the truck other than this issue, praying it's the only issue I see. My 2018 Wrangler Rubicon never gave my any trouble.

Sounds like it is just your turn in the barrel to have an early failure. I do not think FCA reinvented the wheel here on the drivetrain and it just the law of averages sticking it to you.

Oh, here we go again Alice ! I just don't have the strength to voice another opinion on the "ins & Outs" of what goes on in "Jeep World" or Their Vendor Factories, or the Quality Issues - wether they be Material or Employee ! ? And why should I, it would all be just conjecture and endless imaginings of my mind playing terrible tricks on me ! ? Same, Same for ALL the other Manufacturers too, but just hearing it again and again and again . . . ugh ! Why do Forums seem to bring out the Worst-of-It most of the time ? Just shoot me and get it done with .

 . . . no don't do that silly . . . just being Smithsonian ! :ontheloo:

No sir, the dealer admitted to me they replaced another before it was even sold. I heard of a third too. Think there is an issue with the T Case carry over from the wrangler. I'll post again after Re Re the new case.

I ordered a new Jeep Sharah: 89, 95, 97, 99, 01, 03 (Rubicon).

Bought off the lot Jeep Rubicon: '06, '15

Warranty services: Windshield leaking, outside air temp reading below freezing on summer day, drivers side rear axle snapped, inspection by Jeep showed it had a hairline crack in it from the factory, it was rusty in fact. That is IT!!!!

Everything prior to the 89 was bought off lots, friends etc, no warranty.

Yep those Jeeps are so unreliable

...Why do Forums seem to bring out the Worst-of-It most of the time?...
The way I look at it, forums are a place where people look to share information - so when someone does experience an issue they start the search and when the find one they post hoping to benefit from the shared knowledge pool. The downside is the appearance of a magnification of specific issues. Although I'd not discount anyone's reported experience - I file each event away and just pay attention on my own vehicle. So far in my list I have the weak fender liner, Uconnect vs phone lockups, hot floor, and transfer case in my short list of things to pay attention to.

3 out of 5,000 is well within 1 standard deviation
So are you telling me that if my foot caught on fire due to the heat of my Jeep that's not an everyday thing...?

I get it, when it happens to you, me or a friend of thee, it is major problem from that perspective. Without knowing the overall macro numbers and failure rates, it is a little hard to nail down if the situation is a possibility, probability or inevitability.

I am sure someone's Gladiator engine has grenaded already and just has yet to be a one post wonder to tell us about it.

Mine was/is more of a philosophical 'Q' / :ontheloo: thought . I do very much happen to agree with your obvious insight .
My "frustration" comes with the knowledge that many, if not all (so far) issues can be related to the JL (& found over their too) . It's when the "new ones" (truck related parts) for the JT start to rear an ugly head; . . . that too will "annoy me" I'm sure . But will it "prevent" me from wanting one ? I Doubt it . . . ONLY thing to prevent that will be health related, but that's another story (best left alone) . ps; hey go back and give me a "like" - I'll never catch up to Stephen707 at this rate !
:(  :) .
