Yeah that would stop him! I actually really don’t mind, he just jumps in the front seat whenever I’m getting gas and I’m out of the vehicle. He enjoys it and I don’t mind it.
After the ceramic coating last week for the windshield and body, I waited 7 days and washed the car with CarPro Reset and applied CarPro’s Reload to the body of the vehicle as well as the wheels. I also applied ECH2O on all glass.
Forgot to take pics but it’s looking great now! I plan to...
Alright, picked up the spare with TPMS from the shop and had no issues installing the tire / OEM wheel in the spare tire slot. The spare carrier was a little snug fitting through the center of the wheel, but it made it through with no issues.
No verdict yet! TPMS sensor arrived later than expected. Arrived around 5PM today.
Handed rim and sensor off to the shop to set up fifth wheel over the weekend and will pick up Monday. Will report back when I pick it up.
Thanks for the response. Agree that a full size spare is needed when running 4x4. I should have clarified the spare is full size and (I believe) matches the stock tire outer diameter. I am doing the same thing with the matching wheel spare.
I’ve done five tire rotations in the past with trucks...
I’d definitely recommend doing it yourself, the process was really easy, just about 4 hours long from start to finish. I even stopped by a car detail shop to ask about it and they recommended doing it yourself since it’s so easy with a new car.
In all I spent about $150 on the kit, windshield...
When I purchased my five Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 275/70/R18s, I assumed the spare tire rim was the same dimensions as the OEM 18” rims. Turns out they are not!
After doing some research, I was able to buy one OEM 18” rim and TPMS sensor from eBay for a great price, which will allow me to do five...
I feel your pain, I tried using plastidip to easily put a red edging on the badges. I think I put too thick of a layer which made it tough to come off. I had very small chips come off the edges of the tailgate badge (the gray trim around the silver Jeep for non-rubicons) and I ended up replacing...
Last major project before the winter! After a lot of research, settled on doing ceramic coating through CarPro’s CQUK 3.0 and windshield coating through CarPro’s FlyBy Forte. I made the decision to do this outside since no garage was available and the weather was perfect.
Coating applied...
Last of the exterior changes before I ceramic coat the vehicle!
I fell in love with the red Jeep outline on the Rubicons and really missed it on the Overland I purchased. Decided to try my hand at plastidipping the emblems seeing some great results from some people.
I really did not do a...
Any thoughts on my offer? I have a tire sitting at my shop that needs a wheel, so I’m looking to buy one pretty soon or buy another wheel as the spare.
Also installed the Mopar 8.4” screen protector! I got a scratch on the display for my last vehicle and it was jarring to see every time I got in the car. This should hopefully prevent that.
Luckily the screen protector came with two so I was able to apply the second one successfully! There are...
Lots of rain today but added some minor things!
Picked up a Weathertech Bump Step from the Quadratec Tent Sale for a good price! Nice little addition to the bed.

My thoughts as well! My first car rusted out to the point where it couldn’t pass inspection so I’m doing everything I can to prevent it with the new Jeep!
Good luck!
