  1. STATE FARM WILL NOT INSURE MY GLADIATOR1

State Farm insures my 2020 Overland, I pay about $100 a month. Haven't had any issues with them, but I also haven't needed to make any claims. Replaced my windshield once but just paid out of pocket for it.
  2. Mopar Performance Windshield Wipers w/ Built-In Washer Jets Released For Jeep Gladiator

Installed a pair on my 2020 over the weekend. Went pretty much the same as above. No issues with length (there was plenty of tubing to reach both wipers). I already have a puller, so removing the wiper arms was trivial (they were a little tight, but popped right off with the puller). I found...
  3. Experience with BedRug XLT mat and one specific area of annoyance.

I've been having the same issue since I got my rug a year or so ago... been picking it out, which is kind of annoying. I was contemplating just cutting it so the tailgate part would be separate from the bed rug. I've tried just closing it folded down but it's quite a tight fit on mine and I'm...
  4. Your thoughts on the 6 speed manual in the Gladiator?

Daily drove a MT Miata for 7 years before getting my 2020 MT Gladiator. The MT is fine, it's not amazing or anything but it works as well as it needs to. Mostly just repeating what other folks here have said, but sixth gear is useless, just pretend it doesn't exist. Unrelated but for some...
  5. Fuel Door Solution

I try and use this every time I fuel up and I'd say it stays there maybe 20% of the time. The slightest breeze or touch will just knock it right off. It is very poorly designed.
  6. Gas mileage is concerning..

On a highway trip I'll average around 20-22mpg (based on consumption), around town it's closer to 16-17mpg -- overall, across 460.972 gallons over my ownership so far I'm averaging 18.4mpg. On highways I tend to be going ~70-80 depending on the area. Usually driving in MD/PA, it's fairly hilly...
  7. What was your ride before the JT?

Traded in my daily driver, '13 MX-5 for my JT (not the one in the background) -- I miss it sometimes but I still love my JT! Unfortunately I did not have a way to keep both around.
  8. Maryland FS: Diamondback HD hard tonneau cover (w/ trail rail clamps) (sale pending)

Yeah I thought I had marked it, edited the original post to make that clear, apologies if there was any confusion
  9. Oldest and Lowest Mileage JT

Picked mine up 10/23/19, I'm sitting at a little under 8500 miles. Haven't had to drive much for the past couple years for some weird reason. Most of the miles have come from a few ~9hr drives between MD and MI, and a few ~4hr drives from MD to PA. It is my daily, though.
  10. How do Gladiators handle on the highway?

I haven't touched the wheels or suspension etc -- it's a pretty minor issue, like I said it's something I only noticed enough to care on bad roads. That said, mine was at the dealer yesterday -- I mentioned it to them as an aside in case they had time to take a look. They called me in the...
  11. How do Gladiators handle on the highway?

I daily drove a Miata for 7 years before buying my JT. The JT handles fine. The only real adjustments for me were needing to compensate a little more when the road is bumpy (the Jeep-wander is real), and needing to be a little more active with my shifter on the highway (the JT 6-speed is...
  12. Does anyone not love their ARE cap?

Got a CX Classic installed about three weeks ago, can confirm regarding the fit and finish -- there's nothing wrong functionally with mine and I'm satisfied overall but they definitely didn't take much care in construction and there are a lot of little cosmetic issues.
  13. Maryland FS: Diamondback HD hard tonneau cover (w/ trail rail clamps) (sale pending)

I'm located in Gaithersburg, about ~half an hour NW of DC out in the burbs.
  14. Maryland FS: Diamondback HD hard tonneau cover (w/ trail rail clamps) (sale pending)

Close-up of the "scuff", close to the center of the image, if you look closely you can see where the cover held on to some green paint from some furniture lol, that's what I get for not wrapping it. Anywho I'm sure it could be scrubbed off easily if needed, I just hadn't bothered and didn't...
  15. Maryland FS: Diamondback HD hard tonneau cover (w/ trail rail clamps) (sale pending)

I'll add some pics tomorrow when I have a chance for folks who might be looking (when I say scuff, it isn't the cover itself that is scuffed so much as the cover itself ate a tiny bit of paint off of the furniture I was carrying lol) -- it was shipped freight to me originally and I don't have...
  16. Searchiong for a canopy-Smart CAP vs ALU-CAP vs RLD vs ARE

Can confirm, 141 days from when I placed my order to installation yesterday! Haven't had it long enough to have any opinions on the cap itself, but it'll definitely be a wait if you go with ARE.
  17. Maryland Sold: FS: Diamondback HD hard tonneau cover (w/ trail rail clamps) (sale pending)

Sold Selling my Diamondback HD tonneau cover -- I've replaced it with an ARE cap that was just installed yesterday. It is pretty gently used, some small paint scuffs from hauling some furniture on top that aren't apparent in this picture. All original hardware included (4x clamps, 4x gas...
  18. Just ordered my ARE CX Classic...

Here's a lousy shot I quickly grabbed on my way home that doesn't actually show the cap all that well lol
  19. Just ordered my ARE CX Classic...

Mine finally came in at the end of last week, and was installed yesterday afternoon -- all said and done, 20 weeks and a day from order to install. Hope everybody else that is still waiting gets their caps in soon!
  20. Just ordered my ARE CX Classic...

Ordered March 1st as well but I'm looking at mid-July at the earliest, according to my dealer. Looks great!
