I’ve been putting up with the new manual temp control center stack set to Dual ATC on Jscan. Works well enough for now, about as well as the Dual Zone center stack did on the same JScan setting. Still hoping JScan can add another selection for true manual controls with this stack, or that...
This sucks to hear... definitely agree then, it seems we need another setting from JScan.
Only other idea- Anybody have a clue what the "SNA" setting on JScan is for? It made my stack and screen go crazy, but maybe after a few cycles it would settle in?
Yeah mine was very close with Dual Zone Auto... I also had every button functioning except Max A/C, the problem for me was accurate temp control. Maybe it's because I only had the old sun sensor in and no cabin temp sensor, but it seemed like it was missing the right sensors to match the temp I...
Can't say for sure that it'll work for us, BUT the gladiators coming from the factory with this stack (7"+ screen, manual temp controls) only have the old sun sensor (part # 68230115AB)
I’ve been working on this too. Went from 5” with manual controls to 7” with Auto control stack for the last year or so. Just bought the new manual control stack for 7” that you guys are trying.
For background- First move was to find the VIN of a car with my exact configuration (MT, cold weather...
The way I read that thread, extra sensors are required for the Auto HVAC control panel to work properly… is that what you guys are looking to do?
I’m just hoping to get the new manual control panel to work after switching from 5” to 7”, so would’ve thought it’s the same sun sensor as original...
Thanks for being the Guinea pig!
Quick thought- When I swapped from the manual control panel to the auto panel, I needed a different sun sensor and a temp sensor for it to properly sync with the system… did you swap the sun sensor back to the one used with the manual system, and remove the temp...
Excited to hear if you’ve made any progress on this? I did the 5 to 7” swap including the control panel with Auto climate and hate it. I’ve never liked Auto climate in general, it doesn’t seem to work quite right on mine despite changing out both sensors etc, and I hate having to explain to the...
Brand new in box- thought my existing unit had burned out so I ordered a new one.. turned out to be a bad fuse that I found before this one arrived in the mail
Paid $350, asking $250
