Patriot Campers has this hydrolic strut and similar camp trailer companies adopt a similar method. Probably the best route. you lift the strut that the awning is attached to when stopped to deploy the awning. you would loose capability still though as a long awning would block a door. I will...
It is worth it if you have the time to spend out here. Hit Morocco, Pyrenees, Alps, Balkans, Scottish NC500, Iceland and Nordkapp for sure worth the money even with increased gas costs (average about 6 a gallon). There is a bigger community than people realise out here as well
some awesome...
PCOR setup. If you want a Hard shell RTT I reccomend James Baroud. They are about 76" long so not a ton of overhang and still quick deploy benifits of a hardshell. Packing up the flip-out canvas tents sucks if you haven't owned one before just save your money trust me and get a hard shell hahaha
Hey guys what have yall found for the Gladiator as far as mobile mounting solutions? I had the JKE Dock from Vector in the JK so will probably be going with that setup but I do also like the new slimmer design. The little mounts 67 has done for inside that useless cubby on the dash are...
XO build wins my vote... That PCOR setup is fucking sweet. I would change a few things though. I would run KM3s and a different front bumper as well as KC Gravity Pro over the Rigid setup for starters. Probably a hardshell RTT instead of a canvas also.
How much would yall charge me to do a wider lower bar for the stubby? Something like the bars on the PS Crawler or Bruiser bumpers? Think it could be worth looking into as an outright offering due to concerns from those of us with front-facing cameras but personally would pay to have one done...
Nice!
Question for ya.
Love the half-height but with the Awning being like nearly 100" long I will need a full-height to clear the doors! Could I mount up an awning on this and it not be too far inside the dimensions of the hard top to clear running forward? If not chance yall would wanna...
Jeep killed me with the damn red accents, wish WT had the drain as I do like the feature even if it is a bit over-engineered but man they just went balls to the wall with this red interior accent and I really wish it was optional... swapped to tan leather and took off the mats from my order...
Came in to announce this nice one man. Also for fans of AEV the snorkel is on XOverlands rig being tested right now so hopefully by end of year expect their front bumpers and snorkel for JT/JL.
Saying it now if anyone wants the red accent badges I will swap you for your traditional all-black ones of the Sport or Overland. Stickers will be removed, probably get an aftermarket all-black "RUBICON" replacement.
Expedition Overland is running Icon on their crazy build so these should be out soon. I am between them, EVO and Metal Cloak. I feel like the MC is way better especially for the money. Probably swap the shocks out unless you go for their 6pack option but even with that cost factored in its a...
I hate the red accent so much that it convinced me to go for the "dark saddle" interior. Looking at debadging the truck as well due the added red accents on JEEP, RUBICON etc all over the truck. Don't accent with such a bold color.. Love the idea of a dye pen to sort out stitching on dash...
