  1. Front Axle Disconnect.

So as an update for my particular case, I picked up my truck last night from the latest (and hopefully final) repair for this vibration issue. After going through tons of attempted repairs over the past year, it seems at least so far that the issue has been resolved. In my case, they had to...
  2. Front Axle Disconnect.

I am very convinced I have a similar level of luck, just in the opposite direction. I have the same issue that many others have had, and yet the resolution that worked for all them fails to work for me
  3. Front Axle Disconnect.

I just got my Jeep back after having this repair and if anything the issue has gotten worse slightly. Not sure what my options are at this point, as I'm sure Jeep will somehow claim this is "normal" for the vehicle
  4. Front Axle Disconnect.

Good to hear, I'm hopeful on this but we shall see. I've been dealing with this since I bought my Gladiator in August 2019, so seeing some people have their issue fixed gives me some hope on this. They can keep the truck as long as they want so long as it doesn't vibrate when I get it back lol
  5. Front Axle Disconnect.

Just brought my Gladiator in to have the TSB performed, I'm cautiously optimistic. Does anyone have any info on how long this repair usually takes? And has anyone in here had the TSB performed which didn't fix their vibration issue or had it come back?
  6. Front Axle Disconnect.

I agree, I do believe I should go to another dealer at this point (even though I've wasted so much time trying with this current dealer). Unfortunately for me, prior to closing my case without any notice or resolution, I was told by my Jeep Cares agent that I should remain at my current...
  7. Front Axle Disconnect.

Well I actually just emailed Jeep cares and found out that my agent decided to close my case after telling me to await an update from my dealer or the agent (neither of which I got, obviously). I am outright furious about that, why would my case be marked as complete without even notifying me...
  8. Front Axle Disconnect.

Well, I had been given the cold shoulder from my dealer and JeepCares prior to all this pandemic fun, so who knows if/when I'll ever get this resolved. I had been told they were waiting for some approval from the Field Engineer for a repair in mid February, which I kept bugging them for an...
  9. Front Axle Disconnect.

I've been waiting for my dealer to get "approval" from the field engineer to do the repair for over 3 weeks now, so I feel your pain. I've been going through this since I got my truck in August and now I am stuck here not even waiting for the parts, but waiting for "approval".
  10. Front Axle Disconnect.

Oh god please let this actually get my truck fixed, it's pretty clear there's a common issue and boy have I gone through hell trying to have this resolved
  11. Pulsing random noise from right front wheel area

I actually had suspected those exact parts after reading every article I could find about this issue, it's happened with other FAD trucks before. Would it be possible for you to get the part numbers from your invoice? I want to go to my dealership with the EXACT info because they're generally...
  12. thrumming vibration

I have the same issue and have posted numerous times on it, I've had some front axle parts replaced and gone through hell with my dealership to get it resolved, to no avail as of now. Hopefully we'll find something to fix it, I know some JLs have had the same exact issue as well with similar bad...
  13. Anyone switched dealers?

I've dealt with similar issues with my dealership in getting them to actually fix my vibration issue. How do you guys find a good dealership/service center? Even the worst dealerships have "decent" reviews on Google, which makes sense considering I was offered a price reduction for a 5 star...
  14. Pulsing random noise from right front wheel area

I have this same exact issue and it goes away when I put in 4wd. I came to the conclusion that it's the FAD too, the dealership looked into and and 'supposedly' replaced the axle shafts in there. The problem I'd absolutely still there but they refuse to fix it, they say it's "normal" for a 4wd...
  15. Issues right out of the dealership parking lot

So it has been a while since I updated on here, since then Jeep Cares has gotten more involved which left me hopeful until today. My dealer had my truck all of last week, during which they supposedly did the actual front axle replacements which did not resolve the issue. They then (supposedly)...
  16. Issues right out of the dealership parking lot

I've definitely been looking into all of these options, I actually have an appointment for Monday to have those front axles replaced but I doubt it'll fix it. I did find this thread on JLs having similar issues where they were resolved just by rotating the driveshaft 180 degrees where it...
  17. Issues right out of the dealership parking lot

I have thought about mounting a GoPro in a few spots to pinpoint it. Originally the techs were going to drive it on a rolling rack so they could listen and pinpoint the sound but they said "the electronics in the truck don't allow us to do that". I'm sure the traction control doesn't like that...
  18. Issues right out of the dealership parking lot

My sticker says 5/19 for manufactured date
  19. Issues right out of the dealership parking lot

As a new update after many stern emails to the service manager and after looking closely at the invoice... I found out (via part descriptions and looking at the part #s on moparparts) that they did not replace the drive axles as he thought/stated. They only replaced the short intermediate axle...
