I use a fasterflate multi tire inflation/ deflation system similar to what others have posted in this thread. Shipping was good as well as it having solid build quality. Ive used a number of compressors on this system (ARB, smity built, maxi trac, etc.)
I'm in for whatever trail. Cascade is the only doable trail in that immediate area right now. Looks like Devils Canyon is shut down And the fork is a bit too much for stock trucks IMO.
Looks like Webster and Red cone are marked as impassable as well.
Thanks! Yep, Same tent. CC is getting a dusting of snow on weds but it doesn’t look significant. Looks like there may be some additional wear and tear on the trail this year per the trail off-road report making a bit more difficult than normal. Let me know. I’m in either way...
If this is an open invite I’d love to hit Cascade with you gents on Friday. I hit Devils Canyon in my JLUR this summer that’s right down the road from there. I dig wheeling in that area.
I thought they were cool before I started seeing them on the road. First thing I noticed is how wide they are. For some reason I expected them to be roughly the size of the JL and not a full size SUV.
Red summit looks like they have some pretty solid rear bumpers. They get pretty good feedback in the forum as well. https://redsummitmachineworks.com/collections/gladiator-jeep-jt
Does anyone have any experience or input on having a high clearance rear bumper on your JT's? I'm thinking about buying an aftermarket one for my JTR or possibly getting one fabricated if my options are limited. Admittedly, I've done very little research (looked at the DV8 offerings) but I...
Had a dude side swipe my wife JTR with the same results. his camery was trashed her truck needed to be buffed out and had light dent removal.The rock rail damage was all cosmetic.
I think there is some level of water resistance to the electronics. Ive had my internals get wet in rain storms before (in my JL. same dash). They seem to be fine. Keep in mind I live in the high desert and we don't get TX level rain.
@JeepCares
What's the recommended path for someone that wants to report poor quality of service? And how are dealerships held accountable for not representing the jeep brand appropriately?
I did boards first for self extraction. I use my kinetic rope mostly for extracting over confident SUV drivers stuck in the snow.
Also, go to the hardware store and buy an inexpensive short spade shovel. Using recovery boards as a shovel isn't ideal.
I'm in CO as well. I've run BFG AT KO2's on my jeep JL prior to my JT. I can't wait for the stock 33's to fall off so I can get these past the goalie (wife).
I keep a kinetic rope, soft shackles and a tree saver strap in my truck all year round. When I'm off-road or in the winter I keep 4 maxtrax with me. I'll probably put the maxtrax up on my rack and run them year round as soon as I get over all this lazy.
