Once I took my doors off I didn’t put the exterior bottom bolts back into the hinge. I do put the bolt back into the interior door stop.
Just as soon as you don’t bolt that door stop in, someone other than you, will let their door fly open and bang into something. You’ll be saying to yourself...
Agreed. With the 37’s I’m running it seems like it’d be hard to hit that area of the Jeep directly under the front bumper.
IMO there’s nothing wrong with cutting it and putting it back on but like I said for me personally I’m not going to worry about it.
I have the steel skid plate. It’s sitting on top of my workbench. It may be able to be put back on with modifications after install of the Blue Ox but I’m not really that concerned about getting it back on.
I had the shop who did my lift and tires put the Blue Ox on my LE.
I had the pleasure of taking it off when I installed my winch plate and winch. It’s pretty straight forward. I think there’s 3 bolts on each side. You will lose the skid plate.
Here’s a picture the day I picked it up pre winch.
Ok, my bad I accidentally put a G in my post. But with some of the grammatical errors I’ve seen in all my years on the forums from Harley’s to Lambo’s that ain’t that bad.
I feel ya. I want that 2.0 rack with the KC’s. It’s 3,000 + with powder coating
Then it $200 to ship.
I called them, the guy said it’s not going on sale.
At least ship the thing for free!
Agreed,
I think the OP should stick with the Prius or go back to work. He’s killing too many brain cells working around an $8,500 a year vehicle budget.
DylanR,
This is my second M235, what a boat!
My lake is full of G-23’s, they all surf 5’ behind their boat. My kids are about 15’ behind mine. We’ve had fun with the Bu after having several MasterCraft’s. All the boats in that price range are nice but the Malibu just checked off all the right...
Mojocho,
My thoughts exactly on the sports bar. The Jeep is a little awkward looking with the bed. Even though the bed is short it looks too long. I think the sports bar would pull it all together.
I would love to see a picture of the sports bar with the hard top off.
The only thing your...
The roof rack is sweet. Can the freedom panels still be removed independently from the hard top?
It would also be so easy to hook a hoist up to the roof rack and raise the top off the vehicle at the four corners.
(I never understood why they don’t make the hard tops with flush mounted D-Rings...
I wanted to be able to still have the option to fold down the windshield so I went with this set up. They are Mopar. Took about 10 minutes to mount them I'll wire them up this weekend.
