I remember talking to a jeep rep at EJS 2025 specifically about JT flares and she said they had been getting a lot o lf asks to bring the JPP flares to the JT. So hopefully that follows through. Jeep, moreso than other manufacturers, does seem to have an ear open to their base.
ASKING PRICE: $56,000
I did not build this rig with the intention of selling it, but... I found a V8 swap and pounced on the opportunity so here we are. If I could afford it, I'd keep both of them.
For sale a 2021 AEV JT370 that I have slowly built up into a fantastic driver, cross country...
Interesting stock comparison. I've always liked the bison.... but i like 40s better and only jeep can accommodate them without becoming a monster truck or chopping the body to hell.
I ordered a set in 40x12.5. They're backorder till November so I'll have to wait to provide my personal experience.
FWIW I'm currently running a 38x13.5 Falken RT01 and it's probably my favorite tire. Great on the trails and has gotten us cross country pulling a small camper.
Hoping this RT...
That is awesome. Offroad I've never wanted more power than the 3.6 but when I'm pulling the camper cross country I'd really lile the extra torque. I think thw 5.7 and being able to run 87 is such a well rounded package. Very nice. Definitely the package I'd go for
Good idea on the limiting straps. I'd say for rock crawling its not a big deal to hang on the shock, its sudden droops like in whoops that blow them out. But the pinion also matters so it sounds like you're resolving multiple issues.
I'm enjoying this build! Probably because its damn similar...
If you're talking about their trailing arm rear fuel tank JT on D60s? it's going to be set up different.... and again i was trying to avoid running the bar between the frame and bed so the mounting location is going to be different.
I also wanted the double shear bracket over a single through...
I havent posted updates lately but I have definitely made some changes!
PSC adventure kit. Replaces the entire power steering system: steering box, lines, reservoir, pump, and belt. I held off on the ram assist to see how it does, but will likely add it after a couple trails where I found I...
Herss a post with pics so you can see it now sits above the frame rail

Since your intending on crawling this thing I'll share my experience with the stock exhaust. That round resonator is the main snag point when traversing over a ledge. I have dragged the frame and then snagged the round bottom edge of the resonator causing exhaust leaks 3 times. Once i seperated...
Been down this road. Started with a sport 6MT and started building it but eventually went to a Rubi AT. Use case is needed. Are you wheeling it or just keeping it a DD? If you are wheeling it, the 4:1 tcase, gears, lockers, swaybar, and fenders are great built in advantages and can get you a...
They stuck a 392 in the JL...a lighter more nimble vehicle than the JT so there's really not much to overthink. Its been done.
I was saying the idea of replacing coils with leaf springs is the rage bait and just using your response as a point of reference.
Dont worry, I'm not labeling you so...
Looks killer. Do you have a profile shot to show how the long arms drop to the axle?
I recently went with a hybrid long arm triangulated rear and really like the ride as well.
Cmon... the reason these threads go 13 pages deep because of outlandish statements like that!
How we went from celebrating the seeming prospect of a V8 JT to talking leaf springs in them is mind blowing and expected at the same time. People love saying shit to get others going. Rage bait.
This is a good point. While i don't baby it around town or unloaded, i have to admit seeing the high pressure oil pump kick in at 3k feels odd when I'm at highway speed (70 + mph). I see 3k a fair amount when I'm pulling the small camper.
