  1. Building an Attitude of Gladitude.

I was going to call it Gladitude, but after a few mishaps and unwanted mods on a wheeling trip, Im renaming it Gladiwampus. I got it straightened out for the most part.
  2. So what did you name your Gladiator?

I was going to call it Gladitude, but after a few mishaps and unwanted mods on a wheeling trip, Im renaming it Gladiwampus.
  3. Building an Attitude of Gladitude.

I installed a Rugged Ridge Arcus bumper with the help of JT Modsā€˜s great video. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/rugged-ridge-arcus-bumper-warn-winch-upgrade.28902/ The hardest part was getting the factory bumper off and apart to get the fog lamps out. I also installed a...
  4. Building an Attitude of Gladitude.

I Installed some Rough Country lights. I haven’t had a chance to use them yet. They seem pretty bright. I mounted the switch to the steering wheel tilt lever for now. I wanted to put it in this blank spot (arrow), but I don’t think it will fit. I was going to wire it to one of the Aux...
  5. Building an Attitude of Gladitude.

Thanks! I haven't had much chance to use them yet. I wired them to aux switch 4. They don't come on automatically when I back up. And I keep forgetting to turn them on. I might rewire them.
  6. Building an Attitude of Gladitude.

I mounted my jack using some hood mounts from an old jeep. I'm a little concerned with he amount of weight that is piling up on the passenger side with the jack, gas cans, fuel tank...
  7. Rugged Ridge Arcus Bumper & Warn Winch Upgrade

    Here a link to the D-rings I used. https://www.quadratec.com/p/quadratec/0.75-inch-d-ring-shackle-black-isolators/red
  8. Rugged Ridge Arcus Bumper & Warn Winch Upgrade

Looks great! Yes it is the X20 - 12K. I had the same problem of the control box contacting the grill, so I installed some washers under the control box. I had to add longer machine screws. M5 x12 I think? It still contacts slightly and may mark the grill, but not enough to flex it.
  9. Rugged Ridge Arcus Bumper & Warn Winch Upgrade

Thanks again for the video. I watched it a few times. It helped a lot. I was able to fish the wires up through the square hole beside the battery under where the Aux wire bundle is using a coat hanger and pealing back the inner fender from underneath. I did not have to remove the air box. I...
  10. Rugged Ridge Arcus Bumper & Warn Winch Upgrade

Thanks for the video. I plan on installing mine soon. I will definitely be watching it a few times.
  11. Building an Attitude of Gladitude.

I made some rear bumper light mounts. I copied the idea from @Dorbritz and his project Gold Rush. I like how he made an additional black piece to fill the hole rather than just bolting up a flat plate. I used Lexan and Black Delrin. The cut isn’t very clean, but the face plate covers it up...
  12. Building an Attitude of Gladitude.

I installed some sliders from RockHard 4x4 (angled up). These things are rugged! Very well made. I love them. I needed to drill out a couple of the holes in the pinch seam, but they installed surprisingly easy considering the amount of mounting points that need to line up. The stock Rubi...
  13. Bed Rack and Roof Top Tents

This is a great idea. I've been trying to think of a way to mount a canoe over my RTT. It sits on a JCR short rack. Putting/making another rack to go on the rear corners may be the solution.
  14. Garage hoist.

That does sound like a good solution for moving around. I was going to extend my controller cable, but when I took apart the controller box there were more wires than I anticipated. There were like 6 or 8 wires all with crimped on connectors. i just closed it back up and said I'm not dealing...
  15. Garage hoist.

I like ShadowsPapa's hoist, but for me garage floor space is at a premium. I like having something on the ceiling. One of the biggest problems I had was controlling it. If my set up were much bulkier, I would build an "H" frame and lift from 4 points instead of one. I would imagine lifting...
  16. Garage hoist.

I did a write up on something I built for lifting my rack and tent off. Nothing fancy. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/hoist-to-lift-off-bed-rack-and-rtt.28418/
  17. Hoist to Lift Off Bed Rack and RTT

I made threaded plates for my rack. The current design uses carriage bolts that stick out of plates that slide into the rail. I wanted to be able to lift the rack straight up and off with the tent on it. The slots would not allow for this with the bolts sticking out. I had to cut the bolts...
  18. Hoist to Lift Off Bed Rack and RTT

My JT is my daily driver, so I wanted to be able to lift my tent and rack off together when I didn’t need it. I built a hoist in my garage to lift it off and still be able to lower it back on by myself. I had about 4 designs I was throwing around, but this was quick and cheap. I used the 880lb...
  19. Building an Attitude of Gladitude.

I Installed a Daystar 2ā€ spacer lift/level kit. I figured it would be a good entry level lift for a rig that was more for overlanding than crawling. The price was right. I didn’t need an alignment when I was done. I would like to get a complete lift eventually. I am waiting for other...
  20. Building an Attitude of Gladitude.
