What winch are you running?
I'm thinking that needs to be the next 'upgrade' on my Gator Rubi, now that the dealer's service department finally fixed the leaking axle seal.
Maybe I got lucky.
Both the service tech & the Service Manager checked the replacement seals for leakage when I took the Rubi back in. Found none. This last visit was to replace the control arm (and related parts) that was causing the 'popping' sound in the rear when backing up and turning or...
Quick update on mine, as I just got it back on Tuesday.
The tech previously replaced the axle/seals due to fluid leaking, and replaced the sway bar end links thinking that would stop the intermittent 'popping' noise coming from the rear. It didn't. It continued to happen when backing up and...
Yes, but I should've added a bit more detail.
It took the tech about three trys with test driving to isolate and identify the source of the popping. He finally used some type of listening device attached to the underside in the back (forgot what the Service Manager called it).
Unfortunately...
On mine, the dealer's service techs got the replacement seals in pretty quickly, but other parts were out of stock/backordered. They won't have a replacement control arm in for several weeks.
Rubi is still drivable, but there's that enjoyable intermittent 'popping' noise. Took my buddy for a...
Yes. Mine's a Rubi and had that problem, in addition to the 'popping' noise when turning or backing up, which was not caused (apparently) by the cracked axle or seals.
Late to this thread .... but here's what I know:
My Gladiator is a 2020 Rubi. Took delivery Jan. 2020.
In Dec 2020, I started hearing a 'popping'-type sound somewhere on the underside on the rear driver's side when backing up and turning, or sometimes when driving over uneven ground or...
Thanks.
Okay, so from your pictures it appears the dividers are removable and a long arm could be laid in there, and then the bin locked by putting the seats down to secure it (?).
Stock Rubi with 7K miles.
The sound I'm starting to hear is more like a 'popping' noise that comes intermittently from the rear (sounds like drivers side).
It doesn't happen when driving straight on the highway, but if I'm, say, backing up and turning it will, or if I'm driving on uneven...
