Do you mind sharing how you got to the bolt being the spring while installing the brace? I was getting ready to install one of these but I keep wondering if I’m going to have to take out the spring to get to the steering box bolt.

Got these bolts torqued down. It made a ginormous difference. Now I’m down to just a tiny bit of wobble between 47-52 mph. No where near the death wobble as before. Thanks for such a descriptive picture!

Did the shop specify what bolts they found loose? I recently had the steering TSB and have started to get a little wobble a few hundred miles after. I’ve been going through and re-torquing everything but haven’t nailed down the culprit yet.

When you speak of the steering box bolts are you referring to the four on the top of the steering box?

I ended up just staying with the pros. I’m still getting a slight pull to the right or left depending on the pitch of the road. I’m dealing with it because the off-road performance has been great. But when it comes time to replace them I’ll probably go with something else. Mine are 12.50 wide...

I went with rhino lining. It’s held up great over this first year and a half and I’ve beat it up pretty good. As far not rolling it into the loan, I just looked at it as $400 less that I have to pay interest on.

I painted mine to match the body color with the matte clear. I’m no painter and had to sand it down and re-paint 3 times before I had an end product I could live with.

I just got the Pros put on last week in a 37x12.50xR17. My JT pulls hard right now. Drives straight on the stock falkens. Going to see if discount tire will switch me to the Max.
