  1. Overland: Mopar lift and mud tire impact?

I put some GY DuraTracs on my Rubi suspended and Teraflex leveled Overland last week. Not huge ones as I wanted to stay with C rated. 275/65 R18 so a tiny bit taller an inch wider and 11 lbs. heavier. MPG is down probably .5 but ride and looks better. Needed to get something on more burly before...
  2. How to activate DRLs on Overland model

This sounds like an issue for the dealer. DRLs are something that should be totally automatic and that you never have to think about. I have an Overland with the LED package and the DRLs work without any input from me. If you have the halogens they should still work the same. My wife has a sport...
  3. Death Wobble

Follow up: Two days ago I really tightened up the track bar and got nearly a full turn into it. Since then no wobble but too small of a sample size thus far to call the issue solved. Hoping it will be ok until I get new tires and get it aligned.
  4. Death Wobble

Drove about 820 miles home today. One incident of death wobble where I had to slow down to about 60 (from 72) to get it to subside. I plan to put on new shoes shortly and then will be getting it aligned and try to add more caster. I am fairly confident that is my problem but I will be retorquing...
  5. How hard is it to install Rubi springs/shocks?

I did mine with no experience and my son in law as my helper. We installed the Rubi suspension, leveler and JKS quick disconnects in about 4 hours. We had no previous experience. Watch JK Gear and Gadgets on YouTube as Ben has a good video on leveling his JT while changing the shocks. I always...
  6. Death Wobble

To answer the questions above. I have retorqued the TB but will check it again. The wheels and tires are stock but I have not had them balanced since I bought it. I did install the Rubi suspension and leveling kit. I don't take it wheeling but live in a rural area so am often on unpaved roads...
  7. Death Wobble

I have an Overland that I have had for a year and have about 24K miles on it. In March I installed a Rubi take off suspension and a Teraflex leveling kit. I did not install the slightly longer lower control arms and I am wondering if that is my issue. I have had no issues until recently but...
  8. Max Tow Halo Light Wiring

We putt the Oracle lights in to replace the halogen lights. The halos attached to the same fuse as the cigarette lighter. Now they are on of the trick is on. Works fine
  9. Overland: Mopar lift and mud tire impact?

I didn't do a Mopar lift but did a Rubi take off and Teraflex leveling kit. I haven't changed tires yet but will be shortly. I think it is ideal for me. No change so far with MPG but I expect a little change once I get some bigger tires. I am not going crazy with the tires, probably just 33s.
  10. Minnesota 2020 Rubicon (JT) Wheels and Tires Flacon MT's Less than 300mi

With TPMS? $1200 with TPMS is more like it. I'd be interested at that price. I'm in Champlin, MN
  11. Zero Issues with Gladiator?

11,000ish miles. One issue, they didn’t install the bump on my rear passenger side. Brought it up at first oil change and was rectified. Otherwise, flawless.
  12. leveling kit advice

I just did the Rubi takeoff plus Teraflex 1.5 inch leveling lift. It is dead flat. I’m thinking about taking out the half inch spacer. I think my recovery kit would make it squat.
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I made my Overland taller with a Rubi take off suspension and 1.5" leveling kit. I also replaced the front sway bar links with JKS quicker disconnects. The suspension came with slightly longer lower front control arms. I might try to get those on tomorrow. The Jeep looks awesome and drives...
  14. NEED HELP!!!! Sport - 3.5” Lift - 37” Tires

I see you figured out how to get it to show what gear it is in! Sorry I didn't respond in time. I couldn't remember and had to go figure it out. That is great that it is getting into 8th with the 35s. Now that I have the Rubi suspension and leveling kit there is plenty of room for 35s. I ended...
  15. NEED HELP!!!! Sport - 3.5” Lift - 37” Tires

I'm not an expert but think 37s with 3.73 gearing will create a pretty doggy Jeep. Are you seeing 8th gear as is? You can adjust your display to tell you what gear you are in if you don't know. It will appear as a small number next to the D in your cluster. I have an Overland DD with the 3.73...
  16. Pro's/Con's putting Rubicon Suspension on an Overland

I just got a Rubi take off suspension to put on my Overland. At the same time I am going to replace the front sway bar links with JKS quicker disconnects and put in 1 inch of the Teraflex leveling kit. The suspension I got came with coil spacers. I am guessing they go on the top of the rear...
  17. Wisconsin NEW TAKE OFF RUBICON SUSPENSION and CRATE W/2.5 RC SPACER LIFT

Any luck? If not, I’d be interested in meeting in Madison and buying them.
  18. And again more tire questions - Overland

I grew up driving rear wheel cars in Wisconsin and never had snow tires so my expectations may be low. I also don't know if most reviewers know how to drive in snow. I did put some sand tubes in the bed and that made a big difference. Cost me $16 and probably a tiny bit of MPGs. I was just out...
