Yeah I need the heat to come out of the rear vents with some sort of reliability and force -- it's for my dog in the back, and when it's like 5 degrees out -- it takes quite a while for the interior to warm up.

So does leaving it on auto help the rear vents to blow more heat when cold (or blow more at ALL -- the power of the rear vents is minimal).
