  1. Rear Vent heat/cooling and air flow

Yeah I need the heat to come out of the rear vents with some sort of reliability and force -- it's for my dog in the back, and when it's like 5 degrees out -- it takes quite a while for the interior to warm up.
  2. Rear Vent heat/cooling and air flow

So does leaving it on auto help the rear vents to blow more heat when cold (or blow more at ALL -- the power of the rear vents is minimal).
  3. Rear Vent heat/cooling and air flow

Looks like the Doc Diesel cabin air filter is ONLY for the diesel engine. I have a Sport-S with the 3.6 gas engine. Anyone have any other good options?
  4. Rear Vent heat/cooling and air flow

Yes, I am talking about the rear vents on HEAT. The front is fine (although the split temp system is kind of a joke -- I can set mine to 65 and my wife sets hers to 75 - - mine and her vents are pretty much the same temp. It seems to be a binary like 93civejl says -- HOT or COLD. No...
  5. Rear Vent heat/cooling and air flow

Folks, there is ALMOST NO airflow coming out of the rear vents (unless I turn up the fan to full) -- and yes, I do set the hvac to VENT mode. Is this a known issue -- it's always been like that, but now that it's so cold out -- we want the rear vents to hear for our dog in the back. Is there...
  6. Can the 2020 Sport-s With Max tow handle this?

Curious -- how do you find the construction, etc. on the Sonic trailer? I am looking at the SN231vrk now (I like the rear kitchen). GVWR is 5815, 500lbs dry weight on hitch. Any issues with the AC, slides out, leaks (esp. front window),etc.?? What issues DID you have? Also, what WDH/sway...

Thanks folks -- I had a feeling!!! Much appreciated.
  8. Can the 2020 Sport-s With Max tow handle this?

Folks, I was looking at the Wildwood 22eras that has a GVW of 7685, dry is 6196, with a hitch weight of 685. CAN the Gladiator handle this (I know that the ratings is 7600, but not sure if it could handle this which is right at the max range. Thanks! Jim
  9. Aiming Oracle colorshift and a few issues

Well I figured this one out: 2.I have the DRL working, but the CIGAR LIGHTER now seems to NOT be working? On the DRL, you REPLACE the normal fuse with a plug that has a space for TWO fuses -- they BOTH need to be there for the DRL and the cigar lighter to work I will look into the covers for...
  10. Aiming Oracle colorshift and a few issues

Folks, I installed the Oracle colorshift with the RC-1 controller. 1. How do you AIM the headlights (where is the adjustment) 2.I have the DRL working, but the CIGAR LIGHTER now seems to NOT be working? 3.I cannot get the RC-1 controller to connect at all. I've tried the "disconnect power" for...
  11. Issues with the audio/sirius XM

Thanks -- I have a service coming up anyway, so I will certainly have them look into it. Any dates for when the favorites fix will be available? Is there a way to check the firmware version and when it was last updated? I'm in NY so it shouldn't be a big issues with XM radio. I've had it for...
  12. Issues with the audio/sirius XM

Folks, recently I've been experiencing the following: 1. The unit sometimes FREEZES where it doesn't respond to anything (volume won't change, can't change channel, if I put it into reverse the backup camera doesn't display). It stays like this for about 30 seconds and then reboots. 2. On...
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

tredwear: https://tredwear.com/ I sent them the graphic for the grill, and just ordered the required letters. They actually glue on to the sidewall (sand, degrease a LOT, then glue). They have held up pretty well so far -- had to reglue a couple of edges that I guess I didn't do well...
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I had the headliners, grip handles, cup holder inserts, door sill inserts and tire letters well before I actually GOT the truck! It's all good (and that wait is a killer!)
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

AggieJeep, do you mean what IS a farkle? Sorry, farkle is from my motorcycle riding..... Farkle (n): A modification to a motorcycle that satisfies the following criteria: creates “bling,” serves a purpose (the usefulness of which is in the eyes of the farkler) and is most likely expensive...
  16. Android Auto, not hearing google maps voice?

So I didn't get to test it by re-doing the bluetooth sync. When in Android Auto, I played something (another app) that required audio. When THAT played, all of a sudden the google maps audio became audible. Weird, but it worked....
  17. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Finally got to tow with the max tow -- I actually got BETTER gas mileage towing that not (of course I did a long highway drive towing, and most of my running around lately has been just short in-town stuff. Had to tow my trike about 40 miles to get the rear tire replaced (screw went through...
  18. Any good rooftop racks that mount to the BACK of the roof (leave the freedom panels "free"?

I had looked at a BUNCH of different places for a couple of weeks before posting this, but I never saw the MOPAR removable roof rack https://www.quadratec.com/p/mopar/removable-roof-rack-kit-jeep-wrangler-jl Anyone have good/bad experience with this?
  19. Any good rooftop racks that mount to the BACK of the roof (leave the freedom panels "free"?

Folks, I have 12' and 10' kayaks that I would like to get a roof rack for. I have the Thule Hull-a-port PROs that I used to use on my old Honda element (mounts to the cross bars on the roof rack). I'd like to re-use these, so looking for a rack that has cross bars, but far apart, that mount to...
