I really wanted that setup as well ... and just about pulled the trigger when I was getting the replacement bushings under the TSB recall, the rep at RK was pushing it hard ... almost did it but something told me not to.
Not to bring up old topics, but did the TSB recall about six months ago and the same bushings I replaced are shot again ... then also noticed that all four of their shocks I'm using are leaking ... kit isn't even 2 years old ... being this is my second kit from them, I used to have a lot of...
Quick question before buying upgrade ... I have the 3" Rock Krawler Lift without the 4-point cradle and love it; however, a 37 Toyo M/T does not fit under the Gladiator. Can anyone confirm fitment of the spare with the pro-x upgrade ?? @rockkrawlersuspension
So, I'm running the RK 3" lift but retained the factory rear track bar and can tell you that 37x13.5x17 Toyo Open Country M/T's don't fit under there ... even aired down, not even close. Guess I'll be looking at their cradle 4-point sometime soon so I can free up bed space
Found a solution this morning, and tested it to work perfectly ... Add a load balance resistor (pictured) in the power wire leading to the LED's. I'm now using the fog light switch to control the lightbar in my bumper
Doesn't the Flashcal allow for changing fog lights from incandescent to LED? I'm having the same issue since changing bumpers and swapping the factory fog lights for a lightbar in the bumper. My understanding is that changing the setting for the lights to LED will fix that issue.
Unfortunately the shop I had the alignment done at didn't provide a spec sheet after, but assured me that it was within your (RK's) spec. Probably should go back and get that. So, Toyo M/T's ?? Yeah, that's what I'm running, damn it. As far as the noise goes, I was under it last night and...
This lift is killing me, found today when I got to work that when I shake the jeep, the rear is making a metal on rubber squeaking noise. Really starting to lose faith in this kit. Had a similar kit on my JK and never had an issue.
I'm still using the stock steering stabilizer. Ran into that issue with a Bilstein on my old JK, so I knew better than to replace that at this point. Plus bump steer is nonexistent at the moment, but maybe that's due to the constant push.
Has to be something with the kit, mine is pulling to the right as well. @Rock Krawler Suspension has been quiet on here for a long time, wish they would respond to some of these questions.
