There are many, factory grounds on the fender sides. One of those would be better. Your ground ring is on top of plastic.

UPDATE: FCA has been in contact with myself and the dealer. They state: This is a characteristic of the vehicle and have noted my concerns. If i had noticed an issue during the test drive, i shouldn't have proceeded with the purchase. They have no further actions.

I vowed to wait for the diesel. But in the end, the gas won. I have had 3 diesels in the past, and every single one of them had major def issues ( Canada ) I dont keep vehicles long enough to warrant the initial investment, and worry about the reliability.

Went out with the tech, in another JT Rubicon (brand new). Steering wheel behaves exactly as mine does. I have been for drives with the tech, service manager in both mine and the other new one. All 3 of us agree, this is not right. Updated star line, and waiting for direction from FCA.

UPDATE : Dealer replaced the power steering pump, as per star line recommendation. NO CHANGE...
