  1. New Recall NHTSA 24V-652: Instrument Panel Cluster IPC Failure & Replacement (9/5/24)

I completely understand. My situation is unique because we planned about four weeks of travel with the camper starting on Sunday. I just didn’t wanna have to do all that traveling with a load and not have access to engine temperature and other alerts as well as fuel range and all that stuff that...
  2. New Recall NHTSA 24V-652: Instrument Panel Cluster IPC Failure & Replacement (9/5/24)

Well, just came from the dealer where purchased the and was told I needed to leave the vehicle for * two months * so they can insure proper mileage on the new cluster (with the 2 mouth parts lead time. 1 need to literally Trade the truck for another one in order to stay on schedule for our...
  3. New Recall NHTSA 24V-652: Instrument Panel Cluster IPC Failure & Replacement (9/5/24)

I just spent the past hour at various levels of Jeep. Customer care (all receptionist were clearly offshore call centers). It seems that my VIN is not in the recall database even though it’s clearly the same issue. Anyone else been denied the recall for the instrument cluster blackout?
  4. North Carolina

Mine’s a gator pulling an airstream (Raleigh) ... almost!
  5. North Carolina

Yup, we picked this weekend to camp (glamp?) at Smith Mountain Lake. I was afraid the water lines in the trailer would freeze!
  6. So, what is everybody towing?

Track DAAAY!!! (this is would be my dream setup)
  7. So, what is everybody towing?

This is real good to know KVJ, thanks. I’d be thrilled with 21. Wouldn’t the 33’s equate to a higher gear ratio and therefore improve the mileage?
  8. So, what is everybody towing?

That’s what we will be doing (minus the dog) in a week to Smith Mountain Lake. I can’t wait!
  9. So, what is everybody towing?

I just got my Sport with max tow, but I’m expecting worse mileage with the 4.10. I knew that going in, so it’s all good, but I do wonder if the 3.xx isn’t a just as legit if you get back better mileage. I’m no expert though.
  10. Pulling a Camper

No worries man, everything else about the rig has gone together nicely.
  11. Pulling a Camper

    I was hasty. Now i have 2 controllers :-(
  12. Does anyone feel the need for an Aux. Fuel Tank (Towing)?

Yours seems to be the overwhelming viewpoint. I overestimate my bladder capacity! I may just stow a jerry can for peace of mind. Mine’s a 22ft TT.
  13. Does anyone feel the need for an Aux. Fuel Tank (Towing)?

I need to update my signature - both the Nissan and the RAM are sold. That ram, while a little long with the 8' bed, would have been oblivious to the 22' Airstream.
  14. Does anyone feel the need for an Aux. Fuel Tank (Towing)?

For what I'm doing (just under 4klbs.), even the 350 would be too much. I'm guessing the mileage for the 250 is in the same neighborhood as the JT w/ Max Tow - I guess I could look it up...
  15. Does anyone feel the need for an Aux. Fuel Tank (Towing)?

With the expected MPG of travel trailer towing around 11 - 13MPG, has anyone felt the need to add an auxiliary fuel tank in the bed?
  16. So, what is everybody towing?

That's just cool, no 2 ways about it.
