Seller: walmart.
For you lucky bastards that have room to store winter tires.
Hopefully final update for anyone that might still be interested: got the truck back last week, work order stated metal shavings throughout - bearings failed. Took it camping last weekend and all was well.
Update: it went to the dealer today. Their diagnosis was a bad passenger side differential "bushing". I take that to mean a bearing race? Either way, it's getting a new differential and associated bits on Chrysler's dime. Very happy with the way the situation was handled, and still really...
Whoa, didn't realize powertrain covered the axles. Guess reading is fundamental lol. I'll collect the bits and contact the dealer I reckon. I'll let you guys know what shakes out. 😅
Thinish but hard, like a thicker sheet metal. Ferrous, stuck to the drain plug magnet and came out like a snake.
I'll spin the axle later when I get a chance. Thanks for the thoughts so far.
Powertrain warranty expired 4-5 months ago, so no joy there.
Not crazy. Build it like you would an off-road buggy. Carbed hemi, Dana 60s, half doors, sheet metal or plastic dash. Hell, you'll be done before some people decide which gears to go with.
Looks like Harrop is taking pre-orders for a new elocker.

They show the same part number for front and rear. Seems like what they sell are just branded Eaton units, so hopefully the truetrac will follow eventually.
This may be relevant with your attempt at eliminating exhaust drone; coming from the g8 world where many complained about this problem, at least one manufacturer used helmholtz resonators in an attempt reduce drone.
It's the J shaped section near the end of the system.
I have the base soft top. I had to order it that way. You couldn't give me a hard top. Anybody having self image issues over how the roof of their vehicle looks; get into therapy.
