All depends on the type of wear. If it's natural such as scratches from the trails yes But if it's an accident type of damage that could have been prevented I would pass. Think of it this way. A used Colt 1911. It may be used, wear from carrying, finish has rubbed off in all the right places...

For me I would gravitate to aluminum skids. I have no experience with them yet only steel Teraflex on the TJ. My thought is light weight and will not rust. I'm sold on aluminum after seeing how well it held up on Stepchild at Lite Brite Nation. I think it was Metalcloak. They showed skids...
