That's garbage. Sorry it happened but maybe find another dealer? How can I walk in and get mine done same day, but you're on a list for months? Doesn't pass the sniff test.
Not sure the OP was looking for advice on what kind of vehicle to get his daughter. Talk about opinions being like aholes... you'll get a thousand of those.
Back to the 3.6, bought my son a used 2016 Ram with 187k on it. Oil changes done at dealerships, so the maintenance records were...
Biggest loss for me going from the Mojave to a sport is the ride. I get it. We don't buy these things for ride quality. But I thought my girlfriend was gonna kill me. Mojave ride compared to a Sport with the Mopar lift is beyond night and day. Mojave was smooth! Not sure if it makes it...
I smell jealousy. Love my Texas Trail. I'd be interested in trading my '22 for a '24, but it's missing one of my favorite options. The diesel. Probably hold onto mine for a while. Ordered it exactly how I wanted it. And can't get Gobi anymore.
I'm on my 3rd Gladiator. 20 Sport S, 21 Mojave and now a 22 Texas Trail diesel. Sometimes I just get a wild hair and want a new one. And I got insane trade in on the 20, so it put me in a good position. Understand wanting the missing parts, but can probably find those online somewhere...
Interesting that some dealers are ordering parts as needed. I took mine in for battery replacement. They had the part in stock and did the work while it was there. This was just a week ago.
I had this exact issue with both my Sport S and Mojave. Had it looked at multiple times. Nothing wrong... Another reason I love the Diesel! Problem solved.
Bring back the diesel!!
My guess is it's still just a battery issue. Especially with the cold weather lately. Just had both mine replaced under warranty. Aux still connected, but same behavior. She'd crank, try to start, then stop. A/SS quit working about a week prior. Message said 'battery charging'. It hit...
I can give the same anecdotal evidence in the exact opposite directions for lots of folks, including my in-laws and better half who have quite large portfolios, that have declined significantly the last year plus. Except for housing. And value aside, people aren't selling/buying due to the...
Swap the word economy with inflation. Not the same thing, and attempting to slow inflation is why they continue to raise rates. Drastically different things.
Understand this is about unpopular opinions, but if you know how/where the Jeep Wave started, or at least what it's predicated on, maybe rethink things. I get people think it's stupid, and you're not alone, but I'll always do it.
It's amazing how much damage can be done. Mine was hit back in early May. Didn't want them to total mine, because I ordered exactly what I wanted, and it can no longer be ordered. Almost 3 months later and mine is still in the body shop. So I guess consider yourself lucky! At least a little...
Completely off topic, but my son is at Benning right now training to be a Cav Scout. I was 11B. Quick funny story... I went to MEPS 3 times to try and get a scout slot. Gave up and took the 11X slot. My son was trying to get infantry, couldn't get a slot and took scout.
Considering a off-duty officer witnessed the whole thing and stopped, I don't think punching anyone would have helped my case! Besides, it was an 18 year old kid who had his license a whole two weeks who slammed into me. But it wasn't his fault. Was an elderly couple who hit him. Time for...
Diminishment of value, and yes. One of the 1st things I asked about with it being so new. No idea what that number should be though. This Jeep would be difficult to replace, so I'm hoping it does NOT get totaled. Ordered it new and can no longer get the diesel in the Texas Trail. Overland...
