I disagree, I watched this last night before falling asleep. He goes in-depth about the vehicle, his thought process behind purchasing the vehicle, and comparisons to other vehicles he owned/owns.
Nice to hear people talk about stuff they like.
Do you have pics of the other vehicle?
The more I see gladiators in accidents, the happier I am with my purchase. Every single crash so far has shown me that the Gladiator is built like a tank.
Glad you guys are safe!
haha yea, it get's quite a few looks. Not that I mind though. The price conversion from US to CAD isn't that much of an issue, it's the cost to get it up here. Northridge 4x4 and 4WheelParts have some good stuff. But they don't have everything. No ICON shocks, no metalcloak suspension. You can...
I’d be curious to know if the shocks are the same, but the coils make the difference with the mopar lift.
I’ve seen Rubicons on the Mopar lift, kinda looks identical to a standard rubicon to me.
anyone have before and after pictures with stock wheels and tires?
Yea, it’s the right height, works with the factory cover and looks awesome.
I haven’t seen another JT on the road here yet, make sure you beep your horn if you see me.
hahaha, funny you say that. I just mentioned to the wife we need to head to the States for a vacay. If she bites, I'll be heading down for sure.
She just booked Backstreet Boys tickets @ $500 for their tour in Vancouver. Pretty sure she has to say yes now.
Finally found a bed rack I like, but the cost to ship is brutal, I'm in Canada. Reached out to @Max Modular on Facebook asking if they had a vendor in Canada I could use to grab it. Didn't even want to entertain me.
Gah, anyone have any alternatives that look like the Max Modular one for the...
I know this doesn’t help your situation.
I left the JTR for 8 days outside in -30 Celsius. Had no issues starting first time when I got back.
Maybe they had a few sent out with bad batteries?
I see the Jeep Gladiator as a toy, an accessory, a statement if you will.
If you wanted form and function, you'd get a two door Tacoma and a 6" bed. Want to haul, F150 or Ram.
No one buys a Rolex because they NEED a watch. They buy one because they want a cool watch.
The Jeep Gladiator is...
ah, that makes sense. Plows round my neck of the woods seem to love amber lights. I don't know if that means they are better, but 90% of them have them.
Swapped out the stock plastic Rubicon for the Rugged Ridge HD Stubby.

It snows where I am 8 months of the year.
Haven’t once looked at my JT and said - dang, I wish I had better lights.
Put your money into studded snow tires.
