Identical story here too. I took advantage of the free Jeep Wave oil changes at the dealership I bought the vehicle from (I usually change oil on all my vehicles myself).
When I went to do my first oil change and rotation, the drain plug was finger tight. The wheels were the opposite. I had to...
$199 seems a little high. I would be slightly intrigued if it gets around the issue with my prior sun-shade experience, which is I hate the sun-screen hitting the top of my head (I'm 6' tall).
Ahh...thanks for the info
Do you leave the plug out all winter, or only when you want to drain the mats?
Once you cut the carpet, notice any additional road noise?
Thanks
I picked up the OEM ones right away, but 2 things bothered me on them:
1. The logo and mats look great, but the mats are relatively flat (no elevated ridges), so if there is water in the mat, your pant leg is probably also sitting in it (I don't drive in the rain with the top off, so no need...
I'm going to install the Dorman seat heaters.
I also have the Aux switches.
The heaters come with a 3 way switch (off/low/ high).
Do I need to use this, or just use the aux switch?
I'm assuming I need to use the Dorman switch.
Instead of running directly to the fuse box, can I run to the aux...
Here's some pictures of mine from the inside. This is my second season with it. Still nice and tight across the top.
Hooking up the side bungees was no big deal, but fishing through the bungees in the front was tough. I happened to just purchase a new watering hose when I got the shade and the...
Bought one last year during prime day.
I must have been lucky as I had none of the issues you had.
I love mine. Take the tops off much more without the sin beating down directly on you.
My dealer tried that about 9 months ago (as a fix). Ended up still leaking.
Now they can't find a glass shop that wants to touch it because of the extra silicone making it harder to remove the glass without damaging the top,
Been going back and forth now with the dealer for 6 months...

I went with them too and I'm happy I did. I think they have the best coverage. Had them for over a year worth no issues.
Company makes great products. I also have their floor mats and tube doors and very happy with them too.
Only problem with the company is that it's almost impossible to...
Great thread.
It's refreshing and nice to see a thread with an interesting topic, where there are multiple view points being expressed in a very civil manner. No name calling or closed minds.
Wish there could be more of that...
I didn't check my mileage really before switching, but I too also took my standard overland wheels and tires off and put on JTR takeoffs. I currently get 17 MPG. You think that a re calibration is needed and would improve mileage?
Dumb question...what actually is the re-calibration activity? Is...
Same for me too.
I know it's personal taste, but the Rubi tires and wheels made it look like a jeep instead of a rental vehicle.
I got the Falken A/Ts and I noticed a definite improvement on wet pavement too.
