Bummed I won't be able to join y'all this upcoming week, but wanted to let you guys know that i just went up with a group and we hesitated attempting Mineral Creek on our way through Engineer Pass. We successfully accomplished Mineral Creek. Two friends in near stock Tacoma TRD Offroads (one...
  8. Ouray 9-14 July

Good to know. Hopefully my buddy's LX470 will be ok on Mineral. Are you stock or any mods? I assume a stock JTR should be able to handle mineral fine. Did you camp out in that area? I'll be looking for a preferably dispersed camp spot between Ouray and Engineer the first night and then on the...

How was Engineer? We're planning on doing Engineer, Cinnamon, and maybe Mineral Creek this upcoming weekend 7/16-7/17. Taking it easy and trying to enjoy the scenery and nearby camping with two Tacos and a more stock LX470.

  12. Bed cover with rack

The KB Voodoo rack is definitely a little bit of a pain to install, mainly if you're keeping the tonneau cover on. I've got mine all installed and has worked well so far for housing a RTT and Waterport (with additional installation frustrations) so far. I like keeping the hard tri-fold cover on...

  17. MAY 1. Schubarth Loop COLORADO SPRINGS/WOODLAND PARK

Oh boy, wonder if the recent warmer weather will have the snow more or less melted. Has anybody had a chance to give it a look or seen from other forums/facebook groups?
  18. MAY 1. Schubarth Loop COLORADO SPRINGS/WOODLAND PARK

My wife and I will be joining for the trail run and probably stop just before the end/private roads to camp out. The Funtreks book recommends a couple spots. I've got a friend who lives down in the Springs with a Taco who may join as well.
  19. MAY 1. Schubarth Loop COLORADO SPRINGS/WOODLAND PARK

Awesome, yeah I was just checking out the trail there too. Definitely looks doable and reviews make it seem like a good time. Will have to figure out plans with the wife and maybe we'd camp for the night since it's in the National Forest land too, but I'm definitely interested.
