  1. Rear fender chop cover

It's been done and you see the video proof. Use the body line as your guide, use good, heavy bodied painters tape to protect the paint, take your time, follow the line. Probably need a file to clean up the edges and then some paint to cover the bare metal.
  2. 1.5 Level Kit - Shocks? (again)

If you go through ALL the shocks out there for the JT you will find some that say "0"-2" Lift" and then there are the rest that just 0" or Stock. Then if you check the full extended length and compressed length of all those shocks, they are very close in the dimensions. So, one can "assume" (...
  3. Has anyone had problems with FOB range?

It's to occupy the full pocket it's kept in, getting dangerously close to overloading said pocket nearing the rupture point....
  4. Has anyone had problems with FOB range?

I find the Jeep fob is inconsistent. Range for activation can be different when parked in the same area and using it at the same time of day. Yes, I've known about the head trick for years.
  5. Upgrade 7" to 8.4" - DIY?

Not the whole dash, no. You have to remove the controls just below the head unit, then you have some screws on the bottom of the screen bezel. Pop out the bezel on top, then screws around the screen. Then the whole screen will pop out and you'll see the color coded connections and remove them...
  6. My turn for Tuesday coffee

No, us old guys sometimes have bathroom issues and it's best to keep containers available in case things get out of hand.....
  7. Does it make sense buying a Mojave?

It doesn't make any sense to buy a JL or JT and pour the money into them, but we do. Buy what you want AND can afford and do with it as you please.
  8. Rear fender chop cover

It's so funny, can't name the place, but can link Eddie's videos all day long.
  9. My turn for Tuesday coffee

Looks like an AA (Automotives Anonymous) meeting to me. "Hi, my name is Bill, I'm a caraholic....."
  10. Quadratech Issue

Something as simple as @Quadratec will get their attention quickly.
  11. I gotta know more about that 36" x 10" Super Traxion tire!

Nope, front half of JL's & JT's are the same. Front Rotors are listed as compatible for both vehicles.
  12. I gotta know more about that 36" x 10" Super Traxion tire!

You may not be off the hook yet. I doubt they changed out the brakes on that Willy's to accommodate 16" wheels. Sooooooooo, those might be available soon in a 17" version........
  13. Disabling Jeep's ability to communicate, and its implications

Ummmm, yeah. I don't believe it's just the 8.4". Since when I bought my 2020 Rubi I was asked if I wanted to connect to Uconnect with my phone and use the app to monitor my JT or remote start or lock or unlock. It's a 7". At the distances they were talking, that isn't bluetooth.
  14. Not complaining, but auto start/stop has never been 'on' in my new 2023 gladiator

Yup, if you got one of the "been sitting on dealer lot for a year" JT's on a heavy discount, then the batteries need charged. Best way to do it is separate the battery cables and charge them independently. Also there is a big black box on the negative side of main battery, make sure you get...
  15. .

Nothing, I was responding to his "." after he did the edit 🤪
  16. .

No, no, no. That set up is all wrong.
  17. Have a 2022 JT, You think Jeep will ever fix the Aux Battery problems?

Can't go by that comparison either, wife's 2015 Legacy had the battery replaced twice under warranty.

  19. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Didn't do anything to the JT, but I am prepping for a lift install. Put anti-seize on the threads of the adjustable control arms and sway bar end links and set them to recommended install length then snugged down the jam nuts to keep anything from spinning. Ordered shocks and carrier bearing...
  20. 2 Versions of Mopar 2 inch lift kit

Some questions you need to ask yourself. First, is the Fox kit discounted? It is an old kit, been sitting in someones warehouse for a while. Do you want to buy a set that if you get a bad shock it can't be replaced? Second, do you want to spend money on a kit that you can't go higher with...
