I've got only 35k miles on them with just a handful of trails, can't believe they'd be shot already, I thought the Fox stuff was a pretty good brand. Did you do all four or just the ones in the back?
Hey folks issue here, I'm getting pretty bad rocking left to right, mostly at higher speeds but can feel the results at lower speeds, kinda like someone is holding on to my rack tugging it back and forth. I've got a 2020 Rubican, pretty much stock. I had an old CVT tent that I put up there but...
Not fully attached as the soft toper arches up in the middle higher than the rack and then folds down. I reversed the pins used to attach the topper to it's rails, so I can remove it fully open and then collapse it, and store it. It's not too hard to do but not as quick for sure without the bed...
Ed Datin, out of Idaho I believe. Great Guy, give him a call, and he'll talk your ear off. It's one of 3 racks that I saw that fit over top of the Softtopper. It's a good price point for what it is. Not as fancy as some of the big names. One suggestion I would have is get some rubber piping to...
Slow start but already got it out in the woods. Guts are still stock. Just some fun stuff on the outside to get started. Super happy with my first jeep, however sounds like there is already a recall on the clutch, maybe the new one will up the towing capacity a bit. ;-)
So it sounds like the downgrade in weight is mostly due to the clutch life. Good video thanks for sharing. I still have to get the recall done, maybe I can talk them into a using a better clutch.
True, but a Rubicon Compared to a Rubicon should brake and handle the same. 0-60, I'm not too concerned how fast I get there but if I get a new camper that comes in at a bit over 4k lbs I just want to be good to pull it around US.
That's what I was just thinking... I mean if they are going to be doing the same work and you supply the parts it's a win for both. Let me know if they go for it.
I love my Rubicon Manual had it for a week now and wouldn't trade it for the world, been a Mopar guy for years but this is my first Jeep.
I did just notice that the towing capacity for the Manual is way less then the Auto. I could understand a lil bit of difference but 2500 lbs seems like a...
