I ran 35s on 2.5" for a year before moving to 37s on 2.5". I've got Skyjackers Long Travel Springs, and barely graze the fenders when a wheel leaves the ground. If I had Rubi flares, I would never even touch them. I will say that the truck moves 35s easy with stock gearing, but 4.88s on 37s...

I wonder if they tried a PCM reflash to see if it will hold the good code until the new PCM comes in.

I've run G003 and they are one, if not, the best Offroad tire I've run in 20 years and I've run all the big guys on different rigs. My 37s are smooth at 80 mph and only needed a tiny amount on a couple wheels to balance.

I would love to see someone with a Tazer do this on a Gladiator with a video! I think it would benefit us greatly.

As someone whose ESS has just quit working at 21K(Battery charging constant message), I'm taking it to the dealer to get fixed(replace the aux battery). My city mileage went from 16mpg with 37s and 4.88s, to 12.9mpg without ESS. I'll take the ESS all day to retain some mileage in my most used...

I don't think you are crazy, fiscally. If you've got a reliable vehicle(ranger) that will meet your needs in the mean time, then go for it. I do agree with others that we aren't going to see truck prices come down anytime soon on new(except smaller trucks like the Ford Maverick).

One of my local shops who do the majority of the high end rock crawlers and Ultra4 racing, stocks RC now. They say it's a totally different product than in years past. I haven't run any of their stuff, but I know folks who have been the last 3 years with no complaints.
