  1. AZ shop to do gears

Yes, the aftermarket Spicer has 3 letters in the name but I can't remember what it is. Maybe the SDH designation, I'm not sure.
  2. AZ shop to do gears

That's interesting since Spice is what stock comes with. I wonder if they used the "aftermarket" Spicer gears since there is apparently two different types. Literally everyone in my "DIY regear" thread on this forum said they have Spicer without issue
  3. AZ shop to do gears

Jesus what shop was that? I am currently looking vs giving it a shot myself. I just got a quote from Total Offroad and More in Glendale, $2,900 with tax for Revolution 5.13s. Seems high from what I've been reading around. Still trying to find some west valley shops. I keep reading Yukon is...
  4. DIY Regear

I'm going to make some calls to see around my area. I mean if I'm in it for around $1,500 it might be better just having a shop do it if the pricing is similar. Edit: Shit the 2 west valley shops are $2,800-$3,400. For that price I'll give it a go my damn self
  5. DIY Regear

I would need the carrier/pinion bearing puller and a bearing race/seal driver set. Neither are terribly expensive. I am curious to call around to some shops locally and see what they would charge just out of curiosity. The kit on Northridge which was linked is about $1,200 for both front and...
  6. DIY Regear

Thanks everyone for the insight. Will definitely go Spicer. I am curious to see what some shops would quote but again I am really tempted to give this a shot myself. Thanks again!
  7. DIY Regear

Would likely be a long process for me as well since this would be first go at it.
  8. DIY Regear

Evening everyone. I have been reading a ton on DIY regear and am considering giving it a shot since the truck is not my daily and can be down for as long as needed? I do all my own maintenance and repairs on all our vehicles and always have. Never tackling a regear but have the press and most...
  9. Rear ended.....

I just found it: Jeep Licensed by RedRock Jeep Gladiator HD Rear Bumper with Jeep Logo JG19329 (20-24 Jeep Gladiator JT) - Free Shipping (extremeterrain.com)
  10. Rear ended.....

There's nothing but some scratches to the rear bumper. I was already moving into the 4 way stop so I was not at a hard stop when she made contact. I would rather not have a damage claim on the truck and just either Raptor Line my current steel bumper or go aftermarket
  11. Rear ended.....

No damage other than some scratches to the rear bumper. I don't want to submit anything since there's no damage other than cosmetic. Truck is not driven too much and of course the week I drive it I get rear ended. People suck.
  12. Rear ended.....

Rear ended last friday. Luckily the steel rubi rear bumper didn't budge. Car slide under the bumper and the hitch tore through the hood and AC condenser. Nothing but some scratches on my bumper. Given the price of a replacement rear JTR bumper, was thinking about going aftermarket. I don't...
  13. 8.4 Premium Audio Upgrades

Let me preface this with, I have read months worth of articles on the topic but everything seems to be piecemealed together. Curious what anyone has done to upgrade their 8.4 system? I've head about adding the Kicker sub in addition to the factory sub and/or replacing individual speakers. I'd...
  14. Are the MB Quart 6x9" speaker really an upgrade?

I have been looking heavily into upgrading my 8.4 Premium system as well. I have read numerous threads about different products. It seems the premium amp is the lacking factor no matter what. Essentially without an aftermarket amp running different speakers there won't be much of a difference...
  15. Odd Engine Noise

The noise you posted sounds the same as mine but in a slightly lighter noise. That will occur while just driving. Like you said though, easily replicated over speed bumps or slowing down on a corner and slowly accelerating with cause the noise. It's insanely annoying and sounds like garbage. I...
  16. Auxiliary LED Reverse Lights (Integrated Rear Bumper)

Diode has 2 inputs and one output. The hot from the PNP harness goes to one input and the hot from the AUX switch to the other input. The single output from the diode then connects back to the original 2 wires/connection which goes to the actual bumper lights. The negative was just connected...
  17. Auxiliary LED Reverse Lights (Integrated Rear Bumper)

Just finished mine up. PNP harness worked without issue. I also added a hot input from my AUX 4 to control them independently from the reverse lights. I took that opportunity to lengthen the PNP harness since I had to open it up anyway for the AUX input and given the multiple complaints of being...
  18. Odd Engine Noise

Correct, most everyone including myself have tried all tiers of fuel with no resolution. There is something else with the engine/tranny. I am curious if larger tires is what is causing this. I didn't seem to have the issue on stock 33s. I don't know if a regear will fix the noise but I don't...
  19. Auxiliary LED Reverse Lights (Integrated Rear Bumper)

My roadmaster diode came in today, same one from Amazon linked earlier in this thread. I might try and get these in today
  20. Auxiliary LED Reverse Lights (Integrated Rear Bumper)

The PNP harness already grounds the lights though correct? To hook them up through a diode for an AUX button one would only need to run the hot from the AUX switch right?
