  1. 3.2K Road Trip Observations

Just returned home from a 3200 mile road. I have some observations about my new JTR and comparisons to the '14 JK. There was no off road driving on this trip. Only a quick visit to see an aging (95 year old) mother-in-law. The JTR averaged (calculated not computer) 20.1 mph. I thought this was...
  2. JK 3.6 vs JT 3.6??

The threaded plastic top of the oil filter cartridge has a toque spec of 25Nm. Applying more than 25Nm may cause the case to crack. 25Nm is not very much torque. Hand tightening the cap more often than not applies excess torque.

  4. JK 3.6 vs JT 3.6??

  6. Off Road Pages: Lat & Long Not Displaying

Not geographical. I bought a new JT Rubi yesterday. The same issue occurs in Orlando Florida and surrounding areas.
  7. JK 3.6 vs JT 3.6??

    Okay, thanks to all.
  8. JK 3.6 vs JT 3.6??

I bought a new JT Rubicon yesterday after selling my 2014 JK Wrangler to a NC dealer. I spent last night reading the owners manual. On page 362 of the JT manual it states the 3.6 oil capacity is 5 quarts with filter. On page 627 of the JK manual it states the 3.6 oil capacity is 6 quarts with...
