  1. Snorkel with Hemi swap?

I'm a fan of high mounted intakes, for the same reason as you. I don't have one on my jeep now but my tacoma that ran all over the southwest had one and it made a huge difference. I went from having to dump dust out of my filter every trip to just swapping it every 5k. The tacoma intake was...
  2. BLUETOOTH RANDOMLY DISCONNECTING AND DROPPING

I was having CarPlay issues in my old tacoma with an aftermarket head unit for the past few weeks. I installed an iOS update on my phone over the weekend and magically it started working again. Might be worth a shot if you aren't up to date.
  3. J Scan for tire size change - question

How long since you updated the tire size? It could require a few cycles before the other systems update?
  4. Rooftop tents: profile and weight concerns/considerations

Go big. Better to be comfortable at night with space to stretch out, organize stuff out of the weather, and live in the tent when it's raining buckets. Do you have steps/sliders so you can reach the tent while putting it away? My RTT experience (many years ago) was that putting the tent...
  5. Does it exist? What is it called? Where can I buy it?

American Adventure Lab has been showing an underhood mounting tray that fits near the battery and holds stuff like what you want. I don't see it on their website so it might not be out yet. EDIT: No clue if it will fit the diesel or not.
  6. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

When the thread gets to 100 pages Jeep will release both the 5.7 and 6.4 Gladiators!
  7. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

I built a Rubicon X on the configurator today and there was no 392 option. Rats! It’s like all those internet “sources” were wrong!
  8. New hoods showing up on Rubicons

I built a Rubicon X on the configurator today and it had the $695 “performance hood” selected automatically and I was unable to remove it. The configurator isn’t exactly gospel on a build but I was annoyed that it’s not showing up as a no-cost option.
  9. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

A magnetic beer koozie won't slide off the hood anymore.
  10. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone from Prescott Arizona!!!

Damn, I miss Prescott. Lived there in the mid 90’s. It’s changed a bit since then though.
  11. 2026 Jeep JT Hybrid

The extended range electric “Ramcharger” has been renamed to “Ram REX” and is still in development. The BEV trucks are getting dumped but the hybrid lives on.
  12. 2026 Jeep JT Hybrid

Yep, waiting for a 4xe Gladiator.
  13. 2026 Jeep JT Hybrid

    I misread that. I meant I don’t have a Gladiator because I dislike the 3.6. I don’t own a charger because I’m not a PFC.
  14. 2026 Jeep JT Hybrid

That’s actually the reason I don’t have one lol.
  15. 2026 Exterior Colors (per JL)

It’s not on the list, I’m just hoping :)
  16. 2026 Exterior Colors (per JL)

4xe JT in Gobi to replace my JL 4xe Gobi :)
  17. 4xe Gladiator Hybrid (PHEV) Confirmed by Jeep CEO for 2025! ⚡️

Wow, this is not my experience with my 4XE Wrangler. No loss of miles for the recall software fix, no loss of torque that I can feel. I've towed a small trailer and had plenty of power but the gas mileage dropped to 14-15 from the usual 17-20 when running on plain hybrid. I've heard all those...
  18. 4xe Gladiator Hybrid (PHEV) Confirmed by Jeep CEO for 2025! ⚡️

This was a disappointing week, looks like no 4XE this year unless they make it a "late availability" thing.
  19. Gladiator "dead" half-way around the globe

I would bet that if the steering lock won't disengage when you attempt to start the vehicle then the security system will also not disengage. My guess is that the steering lock is what's preventing you from starting. I had this happen in my girlfriend's Lexus after it was towed. We had to...
  20. 4xe Gladiator Hybrid (PHEV) Confirmed by Jeep CEO for 2025! ⚡️

One Horsepower is 0.7457 kilowatts. My dash shows under moderate load that I'm drawing 40-80kw on my 4xe. So the power input on that would be 29.9-59.7 horsepower, not including losses from the conversion process. Not a huge amount of power, but that's only doing 60mph on a mostly level road.
