Just a simple thing to try: Shut off wifi updates. Go to Vehicle>Settings>Software Updates and unclick it if it is active.

I did not have the exact type of drop outs you had. In my case, streaming from my iphone would drop off about once every 3-5 minutes or so and then start up again. I found the suggestion above on the Wrangler forum, and it fixed my problem. Might not help yours but easy to try . . .

I was having CarPlay issues in my old tacoma with an aftermarket head unit for the past few weeks. I installed an iOS update on my phone over the weekend and magically it started working again. Might be worth a shot if you aren't up to date.
