I love that the design is smaller and sleek, but has anybody figured out a way to make a proximity/passive entry key that is a thin/card design or something small like other vehicles?

Completely blacked out option would be nice too... But i may be asking for too much.

Definitely a thought.. i just don't have the equipment, material, or know how... The first two are really the only factors though... Even the top one doesn't seem that bad.

I had it in my ram.. it was cool for both got and cold.. fortunately chrysler does really well with heat, which matters more to me.. i hate the cold if it's hot i like the windows down, top off anyway

Seems like the technology is already in the gladiator.. when it uses auto stop/start, it knows if you threw it in gear without the clutch.. it tells you to step on the clutch to turn on.. I've actually used that feature to open my door without it turning back on so i can run in the store real...

Sure would suck to not be able to hit it if you needed it, though... I think someone mentioned recessing the buttons.. that would help a lot i think

I think making it slimmer so it doesn't bulge your pocket would be acceptable.. only as big as it absolutely NEEDS to be..

If there was a way to make one thin enough to fit in a phone case, that would be cool too.. like those battery pack cases but also the key fob.. most people carry their phone anyway.. do it for the most popular phones. Iphone, samsung, Google, lg

A fob that is only as big as it has to be to work.. so just slightly bigger than the chip and battery inside. Nice and thin, so when it's in your pocket it doesn't feel like you're carrying a rock. I thought my ram key was big, but in reality, I'd take that any day... And it definitely had...

Yeah.. it was cool in the other forum and i know we have some smart people on here that have done cheap mods.. whether it's customizing things by cutting, painting, adding washers, lowes/home depot parts... I know it's being done.. just curious what's out there..

Not sure if I missed it... But is there a post for cheap/free mods? Back in my JK days on a lesser forum there was a post for free/cheap (under $100) mods... By the way.. everybody's Jeep is looking awesome... It gives the itch to mod heavily
