That's what I have in mine... I'd suggest your local installer will have a ton of influence on the result and your satisfaction.
My experience through Exodus4x4 was fantastic. The jeep has run awesomely. All features work just like OEM, although I haven't tried the hill descent control...
The relatively small $ increment to go to the 6.4...once you are these ranges...I was concerned if I didn't spend the extra ~5K, that I would regret not buying the extra torque and hp. Clearly everyone has to make their own budget decisions...but the 6.4 is a beast and I don't wish for anything...
I don't think the 6.4 is gonna weigh an ounce more than a 5.7...same block isn't it? I would really love to understand how I could do a fit of the aux tank post hemi swap.
Not far off what I would expect.
Mine was a couple grand less, did include an EVO 2.5 (for diesel) lift, regearing, chromemoly axle shafts, PRC steering, front driveshaft, synergy track bar, etc. Probably only way to compare is to go line by line.
This is great to hear! Will the order status page, for previous orders, reflect fulfillment in real time? I'm watching my order and eagerly awaiting it to change to shipped :)
I must say the markings on the motor oil dipstick are a bit light! I started with 7 qts like my other FCA hemis...thinking I may need to add a bit more (due to oil cooler I assume)...but between my eyes and this quite faint dipstick, just can't tell how far I'm off. Not my first rodeo on oil...
Hey folks, with the continued trend of catalytic converter thefts...even from our office parking lot during daylight hours!!!...and my cats appearing more vulnerable than they were with the 3.6. I'm wondering if others with hemis have done anything to secure the cats with a skid underneath...
Was it between Bear and Teraflex on the brakes?
Thoughts on Bear brakes vs Teraflex (pros/cons)? How does one know if that particular caliper will fit your specific set of wheels? Thought about an ARE cap but went with the RSI...yep likely waiting a bit :)
I'm game for an option which mounts under the truck (even spare tire location), doesn't require manual siphoning...and of course compatibility with the routing of the hemi's exhaust. Probably asking too much. So for now just frequent fill ups. Range of 500 miles would be amazing and worth...
Neat! He's probably elsewhere in the state. Of course MPG depends upon so many things. It's hard to be easy on the gas pedal all the time now that it is so much more functional. :)
Geared correctly for your tire size, the highway mileage is not significantly different between the 3.6 and...
Agree completely based upon my 2 months so far...made it a completely different jeep/truck. Way more on the smiles/gallon, significantly more power and honestly a pleasure to drive.
Thank you all. On the color coded diagram above, I looked at that one a few times and just not seeing the color alignment that I was hoping for vs the one in the harness itself. I'm aligned this isn't necessarily the most awesome place to perform a splice but good news is I'm not in a...
Ok, I've looked at many wiring diagrams and I just keep not finding one which has all the colors represented here mapped to the right circuit. Interested to locate the tail/license plate lead for the trailer. Can someone point me to the corresponding diagram? Thank you!
