Seriously! I cut bait on my money pit and picked up a new German girlfriend. If I stay it would only be a matter of time before Jay booted me for being inappropriate or my posts would be banished to the land of "other topics" - yuck!!
It took about 4 weeks and when it arrived it wasn't in the best of shape. When I called about order status they explained some orders were delayed because they had been sent back to manufacturing for rework. Mine arrived a few days after that call which made wonder how they made the...
A Jeep bragging about towing is like a catfish that walks on land. It might be doing something better than others of it's kind, but it's not meant to be doing that and it's not winning any land speed records.
I tried to go down the cheap path with one of the imported Mopar copies and it was the biggest waste of cash to date (short of the sunrider I made from old lawn & leaf bags...what was I thinking?)
Well long story short, the steel was cheap, holes were not symmetrical from one side to the other...
You can experiment with other covers first and end up invested in only a partial solution or pull the trigger on something that looks like far more than you'll ever need and thank yourself every day! I'm talking about Diamondback. So expensive...way overkill for some, but hands down the best...
I'm not sure if this is the best solution for me yet, but if you would consider shooting me the best price you could take, it may just be "an offer I can't refuse!" :)
No problem. I already have the steering stabilizer installed, but I'm looking to add the track bar relocator and it requires a different mounting configuration moving from axle mount to tie rod mount. To answer the 2nd part - all in an attempt to take out every possible source of bump steer an...
I'd love to make a deal, but first I need to figure out how to convert my existing Fox TS steering stab to a clamp style as it appears to delete the stock axle bracket mounting setup.
So if I have the Fox Through shaft steering stabilizer configured for mounting to the existing axle bracket - can it be reconfigured for use with a tie rod clamp? If so, I can't seem to find that part # anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've been fighting the situation described by the OP since day 1 of ownership. The vehicle came from the dealer with the Mopar 2 inch and 35's already installed. My first change was the Fox TS steering stabilizer - very little difference. Next came the Steer Smart XD track bar - about the...
So I pulled my grill to install some lights and I decided I want to relocate my horns and possibly swap them for something a little more substantial. The wiring harness has a weird extra plug that seems to be plugged into some kind of hanger or dead end bracket. Has anyone ever noticed this...
If you have any interest in this at all just BUY IT!! I had one on my Tundra and I have one now on my Gladiator...single best addition you can get hands down. They wear like iron at a fraction of the weight. BUT...if you have to ask yourself if you need it, you don't deserve it!
Kinda like would you rather cruise the lake on a pontoon boat or do you wanna rides the waves in a kick-ass drag boat?
I think I would rather have a hoist for my hard top and a supercharger!
