Depending on the nature of the "drop", could have damaged the frame. Make sure your dealer checks it thoroughly. I worked for a dealer way back when and they were unloading an Oldsmobile Tornado off the truck and it got dropped when a ramp failed with the car on it. The dealer sold it to...
Ram Mounts makes Ram mount balls you can run an appropriate length bolt through. In the past I have used nylon/metal washers to act as spacers to get the correct mounting depth. Not as pretty maybe, as CMM, but substantially cheaper and works just as well.
Also, the Ram Mount web site has an...
I was really hoping that Jeep was going to offer something like the Xtreme Recon package on the Gladiator. However, the AEV upfit package is worth consideration when I decide to get my Gladiator.
You won't be doing Black Bear. According to the Sheriff, Black Bear is closed, contrary to what Face Book off roaders tell ya. There are even some news stories about recent events on Black Bear by people that viewed Face Book posters as a credible authority on Black Bear being open. Everything...
1st off, the dealership has insurance, you have insurance. Between the 2 you should be compensated for your loss, especially if the employee was placed at fault in the accident. As far as them building you a new one and selling to you well below cost, probably not going to happen. Best thing you...
Look at the Danner brand and see if they have something you might like. I have worn them for work for years. They can be a little stiff until broken in, but they are very comfortable to wear.
I bought my first Jeep CJs back when they only came with painted metal floors. My current Jeep has carpet, which I don't mind, but I have Husky Liners too.
Your Armorlite looks good btw.
Better yet Jeeps should come this way from the factory. Agree totally, they are doing it backwards. Jeep should have this kind of floor covering with Snap In carpet panels.
Being recently retired LE, I will say Tuffy makes stuff I would feel comfortable leaving equipment in. I have several of their products and I am pleased with the level of security their designs provide.
Just curious, since I want to purchase an Impact Wrench but want to avoid, as much as I can, having a variety of batteries and chargers. My understanding being, that the batteries are kind of proprietary. Are there brands where the batteries will work across different manufacturers?
I know this would never happen. I would like to see Jeep offer a longer wheelbase Wrangler 2 door that splits the length difference between the regular 2 door and 4 door. Kinda like they did with the TJ to make the LJ.
One comment on the "Well executed, terrible idea". Speaking from 30+ years as a LEO. (Retired) On a routine car stop, the officer approaches, asks for your DL. Maybe the lighting isn't great, officer doesn't have a great sight line into the vehicle, and you drop something getting your DL out...
Window CB Antennas are not known to be the best setup for transmitting and receiving signals. I considered one for my Jeep, but overall, this type of antenna did not have good reviews.
