We have a mostly-stock 2020 sport with about 15,000 miles on the stock tires. We use it mostly locally for some boat towing, some lugging stuff around, and mostly just enjoying a summer vehicle that has no doors or roof. However ... when the roads are wet the grip on the back tires is horrible...
So, fwiw, the dealer said that this is a feature not a bug, that the a/c is supposed to turn on each time the engine starts. Which of course made me ask why it then sometimes it doesn't. No answer.
I've decided to live with it. There are bigger problems in life. And this way we get to have a...
OK, so call me either lazy or just busy with honeydew lists and kids and life in general but I can barely get the time to wash the JT. The owner manual however says not to take the soft top through the automatic carwash. Has anyone taken their soft top JT through a car wash? Are there any issues...
Interesting week for the Gladiator. First time (nearly) naked, then the fog rolled in, then it deluged on the way home, then reached 1941. It's been a good week in New England.
I'm 6'1" and find the seat quite comfortable even over a long trip. We have the M/T.
But... the idea of tilting the seat back either via the washers or the risers in the front only is intriguing. Love this forum for all its good ideas.
Whew. Almost done with tropical storm work. Hauled out the boat (foreground) on Monday, hunkered down on Tuesday, hauled downed branches on Wednesday, then more on Thursday. On Friday will launch the boat again. Upside? Gave me an excuse to take the back window out for the first time...
That helps narrow it down. You have a Sport S? I have a Sport, which does not have an auto temp function. Mine is purely old school - a/c is either on or off and the temp dial ranges from blue to red. So now I am guessing that the issue is only related to the Sport.
Every time I start my JT, the air conditioning is ON, regardless of whether I had it ON the prior trip or not. The only way I have figured out how to prevent this is to set the fan to off. Is this supposed to happen? Or is there a way to have it remember the prior setting or default to off?
That's a render from Jalopnik's BEST writer. His book is great ... funny and well though out. https://www.amazon.com/Robot-Take-Wheel-Autonomous-Driving/dp/1948062267/

how do you get the info of where your Jeep is on its journey? My dealer can only say that it has left and what the delivery window is, but not how far it has actually traveled.
