Feet - Small strips of rubber glued together until I found the right thickness. I imagine 1/2 might work. There are lots of examples of drawer systems on other boards. As I recall some used 1/2" ply.

I'm using the bed rails. The cap comes with two sets of clamps to either use the bedrail or not.

DIY top rack. Crossbars are 1x2 extruded aluminum and side bars are 1/4" x 2" aluminum bar. I cut the slots on my router table with a 1/4" spiral upcut bit in small depth increments until the holes were through.
