  1. Leveling a 2022 Overland

I have a 2021 Overland and I used the Teraflex leveling kit with two pucks for a total front lift of 1.5" Front and rear are almost same now when measuring from top of tire to bottom of fender well. The kit comes with one 1" and one .5" puck for each side and new bump stops wich must be used...
  2. Auto Start Stop Failure/Then complete loss of power failure--Gladiator dead in its tracks

Sold the 2020 sport that had the issue and now have a 2021 Overland that so far is fine with close to 20K miles. For the 2020 Sport I had, they had to replace both batteries (the auxiliary auto start underneath main battery and main battery), and the fuse block. There are many other threads on...

  4. Thoughts on this Carmax Gladiator?

No need to apologize--That's great news for me/never been so happy to be wrong! Not sure if I will ever tow 6K, but glad to know I can. I've seen you reply to many threads on here and you are one of the experts I was referring to that would clarify. Thanks for the clarification/really...
  5. Thoughts on this Carmax Gladiator?

Keep in mind Tow package and Max Tow package are two different things. I have a new to me 2021 Overland ($40K before tax with 15.9K miles purchased last month) with the tow package and can only tow 4000-4500lbs. There is a link somewhere on this forum where you can enter in your VIN and get...

Update from dealer service center--Power distribution center went bad. It is on order so should be back in the saddle in week. No idea what caused it to fail, but at least we have an answer.

  10. Auto Start Stop Failure/Then complete loss of power failure--Gladiator dead in its tracks

The Auto Start/Stop came up with a failure on the screen at only 7,700 miles. Took to dealer to have the Auto/Start stop battery replaced. Picked truck up, went out later that night, was driving out of a parking space and the Gladiator completely died. No power to anything--no lights, no remote...

Glad it worked out. 4WP did the lift on my son's XJ and he tweaked it diving in a mud pit and they fixed it fast and inexpensive (thank goodness for his wallet)! Hit up the thread when you are ready to hit the trails and maybe we can all meet up!
  12. Reprogram after tire size change not?

It does not due to some security feature with Chrysler so maybe it is not as high tech but does the job well. The other programmers that do work directly in the OBD port must have a way to override without the added cable. There is a video on YouTube that has some info--search Jeep JT JL OBD...
  13. Reprogram after tire size change not?

You need a cable as well which is $36 on Amazon, and then $18.99 for the VIN Licence within the app itself. My total was just under $90... spartshome Cable Adaptor for Chrysler for Chrysler Programming Cable 12+8 Connector Replacement for Autel DS808 Maxisys MS905 906 908 PRO Elite Autel Sold...
  14. Reprogram after tire size change not?

You remove the cable and device once you are done with the programming. That's the best part of the JSCAN--no need to leave in.
  15. Reprogram after tire size change not?

There is a YouTube video that explains briefly, but it’s Chrysler thing for security
  16. Reprogram after tire size change not?

I paid $18.99 for a license-the app (ODB JSCAN )is free but you can’t do the advanced programming without it
  17. Reprogram after tire size change not?

Yes-got this on Amazon. Both worked well.
  18. Reprogram after tire size change not?

Vgate pro BLE 4.0 from Amazon $29

Try 4 Wheel Parts in Norcross--its not as far away as it sounds. Talk to Mitch or Charles. They have done some work for me as well (and a couple of friends of mine) and sometimes are less expensive.
  20. Reprogram after tire size change not?

I went with the Jscan. Less than $90 and reprogrammed everything in the shop parking lot before driving home. Took less than 10 monutes and all is working properly. Thanks for the feedback!
