Hi Scott. You have described what has happened to me recently. I've had the Clayton Overland 2.5" lift since my Gladiator had 50 miles on it. It's been a fantastic lift. Fast forward to 16k miles. I recently added a new 2.5 ton aluminum tie rod and drag link, as well as new Dynatrac Ball...
I did end up buying the Nomad 270 Bub Awning on a really great sale. The sale price made the high shipping cost worth it. I think the sale price was around $400AUD and $335AUD for shipping from Australia to California. The AUD to USD exchange rate is very favorable. The company was a pleasure...
That is exactly what I have been looking for. Thank you. I’ll look into it and what the shipping costs would be. How do you like it after mounting it and seeing it in person?
Thank you to everyone else who have responded to my original post. It’s given me some new ideas.
I've been looking for a 270 freestanding awning that is 5' long, and have yet to find one offered on the market.
Does anyone know of a manufacturer that is offering one that is about 5' long?
I have a Rebel half rack, so the closed awning can not hang over the roof of the Gladiator, nor...
Thank you. I used some plastic auto trim removal tools. A flatblade screwdriver would work, too, but I was careful not to mar the plastic surface. I'd suggest removing the flat plastic piece first (the surface the knob sits against. Then remove the part that includes the existing switch for...
The model I purchased is the tow pro elite V3. It is listed on the Redarc website. I also purchased the Jeep Harness (TPH-001) for a plug and play installation. Mine is a 2021, so I didn't have to worry about the diode.
I finished installing the newest version (V3)of the Redarc Trailer Brake Controller. I chose this controller as I didn't want to lose the existing factory 12v accessory port. I also wanted a dial mount location that was inconspicuous and looks factory installed. After much time sitting in the...
That's a bummer. Sounds like the collision goes beyond just your bumper. Obviously your hitch is connected directly to your frame which transferred some of that crash energy to components connected to your frame, including the track bars. My guess is your wobble is front track bar related...
That's a very kind offer from you, James. Justin - Here's an idea. If it is just your bumper that needs to be replaced with no other damage and you want to pass on additional kindness to this girl (and hopefully teach her something that she may pass on later in life), then accept the new...
I would suggest a re-torque on your front suspension components, starting with the track bar. The track bar can be the cause of this vibration because of play in the joint if it's worn out or loose.
Hopefully it's something simple that you can fix between now and when you take it in to the...
For those following these threads closely to see when their Diesel may start production, I thought I'd share some news. Jeep Chat just told me mine is in the "trim stage". They said production started on 10/2. I ordered mine on 7/25 (fully loaded Rubicon Diesel). Things just got a little...
I've been unsuccessful in adding my VIN to my garage on the Mopar website. I received my VIN in late July, but the JT has not been built as of yet. Does anyone know when the site allows to add a new VIN for a new vehicle when it's been special ordered? I'm interested to see the payload based...
It is awesome to see a selfless act for someone else, and especially a complete stranger. Not only have you positively impacted the lucky person that gets this suspension, but others that are witness to you kindness and selflessness. That's an example of the heart of Jesus right there. Love it!!
