timo, I also am looking for an awning like this. Did you buy one? Just curious how much shipping was as well. Thanks!

I did end up buying the Nomad 270 Bub Awning on a really great sale. The sale price made the high shipping cost worth it. I think the sale price was around $400AUD and $335AUD for shipping from Australia to California. The AUD to USD exchange rate is very favorable. The company was a pleasure to work with, but the business hours are a challenge with the time zone difference. The quality of the product is great and I love the way it fits on my Rebel half rack (closed and open). I'm waiting for another sale from Caos where I can order the awning walls. The walls are a new accessory which were released about a month after I received my awning.

I'm in the process of designing a 9 foot awning that collapses to 5 feet when stored. Itll be around 65 ish lbs mounted. Rough measurement are 62" x 6" x 5"
