Henry Strater,
In 2025 I Resolve To Offroad with Metalcloak!
To fulfill my pledge I need:
1. Jeep JL Wrangler 3.5" 4-Link, Bolt-On Long Arm Suspension & Lift Kit, 4-Door (RockSport Black Adjustable Reservoir edition)
2. Jeep JT Gladiator 3.5" 4-Link, Bolt-On Long Arm Suspension & Lift Kit...
What are you going with?
My first mod of the year was a full set of MB Quart speakers after I blew out one of the factory soundbar speakers. Got 4 of the 6 installed.
Your truck can go a hell of a lot further than Snake. Even without lockers.
Steel bumpers and rock sliders, maybe a few more inches of lift, a winch and some seat time and you can do all the badge trails at hot springs
Your confidence and skill is more limiting than your truck right now, and...
I agree with the sentiment, and do buy American when there are competitive products on the market. I choose to run Warn winches, LOD bumpers, and although my smartcap is a South Africa manufactured one, the company has since invested in a manufacturing center in Texas. ARB already has a bunch of...
So I recently found this Vevor On-board Air compressor on Amazon for right around $100. I saw a post or two mentioning it other places, but between the questionable reviews on the manufacturer’s website, and the terrible, but ultimately useless reviews on Amazon, I thought I would go into a bit...
I have the opportunity to pick up a factory e-locker for a really good price, and have been thinking through what it would take to swap it out.
If I am reusing my ring and pinion and only swapping the carrier, the only set up I would need to worry about would be adjusting carrier bearing...
Haven’t seen this one served up yet. It does clamp to the vent, but you don’t lose all the use from it so it may be the right compromise.

Thank you for being an American company that supports American jobs. Anyone who thinks your product is any less American because you source specific components globally should try and find a comparable product that is 100% American made. I wish them luck.
I have always bought weather tech, and did so in my JT and regret it. Have the Mopar in my JL and they are great, but the WT are deformed and curled up around the edges and no longer fit or cover the way they used too. The most egregious spot is the drivers mat bows in about 3” off the side...
I have a couple of mounts that I like that are gladiator specific.
The quadratec seat mount is a super handy spot to keep a flashlight and the product works well. I modified it to hold a fire extinguisher so I can’t speak to the actual flashlight...
@Diode Dynamics I watched the SEMA livestream and could tell that you guys are super concerned about price perception.
I for one see an $800-1000 product here, I don’t think you are out of line on your asking price for a USA company, with an actual warranty, and a long list of features.
When...
My JT has the LSD rear, but my wife’s JL is open/open. She makes it everywhere I do, and we run some pretty hard trails.
We both have 3 badges of honor from Hot Springs ORV which are rated “moderate to demanding” and she did it on 33’s and a 2” spacer lift. And we’ve done harder stuff local to...
For all their other products they do an exceptional job of showing output in lux, candela, and lumens plus showing real world beam pattern photos. I would be shocked if they don’t have a super detail spec sheet once they actually go up for sale.
This is super exciting, I want to support a US company and know you make a quality product. Please tell me they are true 9” housings and not a 7” light rigged to fit.
I may have 2 sets or Oracle Oculus headlights for sale if any is interested.?
I wonder if any of these new RT tires will end up with a 3PMSF rating. I can’t justify buying a tire without knowing it can handle on road snow, but want the most aggressive tire possible.
I am happy with how my KO2’s and Falken AT3W’s have done for what they are, and am leaning towards Mickey...
