You are correct. After my Jeep went down, I purchased a 2015 Mazda 3 I Sport. What I save in gas every month is more than my new car payment. Not driving the Jeep every month is actually paying for my other car.
My cylinder heads are removed right now because my right-side head gasket blew at 117k miles. After taking the valve covers off, I learned that I also had a chewed up right-side intake cam. I'm doing all the work myself but why is it always the same head gasket and the same cam of the 4 cams? I...
Issue resolved. I was told by another mechanic that since the vehicle has been sitting for a while that the pressure has already bled off. He was right. It leaked a little gas but no big deal.
I'm in the preces of changing my head gaskets and I'm stuck trying to relieve the pressure on my fuel line so I can remove the fuel rails. My shop manual shows you how do it, but you need to be able to run the jeep. I was not able to start the Jeep, so I started tearing everything apart. Can...
All this information is a gold mine. I'm about to change the head gaskets on my 2020 Mojave. Can I trust this later model information to be the same as for my 2020?

Thanks for this information. This is exactly what I was wondering about. Please let me know what you come up with. I do a lot of highway driving so a loud drone would drive me crazy.
I have seen the video where the guy cuts off his exhaust and just uses the rear resonator and down tip right after the cats. Has anyone tried or seen anyone cut off the exhaust just after the first resonator? I was thinking of doing this and then just adding a small section of pipe with a down tip.
Thank you for sharing your hard work with us. I have a friend who does woodworking as a hobby. He told me that if I ever need anything made to just let him know. He has already made a few things for me and other people so this is the perfect project to toss his way. I'm thinking of giving mine a...
